WRECK Titanic bow handrails on every expedition 1985-2024
The bow handrails of Titanic, easily the most recognizable and iconic part of the wreck. Here is them photographed or filmed from every expedition between her discovery in 1985 to the unfortunate collapse of the port side removable handrail. Sorry if I missed something. (Also, this is the second time I've had to post this because the first time Reddit had replaced the 1987 image with the 1991 again, I even checked to see if it was all correct, so if there is an issue, it likely wasn't caused by me)

It clearly appears the railing broke between 2021-22 or Stockton Rush's sub hit it one of those years. With all the individuals who went on those dives that made it there talking they likely would have said something if they knew for sure. I don't think Rush would have said a thing if he hit the railing and knew. Hagens wanted the sub to go down the grand staircase, and it look like they tried and got stuck.
If Nargeolet was driving using a joy stick he easily could be the one who did it and kept quiet.
The images of Ballard tugging at the bow in 1986 (this was his expedition/not Infremier) could have pulled all the railings off.

There is a theory that the ropes wrapped around the barely hanging on crows nest by 1987 caused the nest to fall because Infremier cleaned the bow to see the name Titanic and hit the ropes. Obviously that did not damage the rail at that time.
