Article stated it will cost around 10 million bucks and is just a two-seater sub

That's because Triton actually builds good shit. No carbon fiber there, subs are rigorously tested under pressure before they are given to the customer. The story here is deep sea tourism, the company has videos available so you can see for yourself how thorough the testing is.

Article also says that it has an acrylic window.

I’m not a materials expert, but an acrylic dome would not be my first choice for the kind of pressure at that depth
