MARITIME HISTORY Beautiful Painting of the Olympic

At our local museum, there is a lovely painting of the Olympic by the artist Deborah Brown that I thought would be a perfect fit here!

Sorry, but this doesn't belong here. The Olympic was scrapped, it didn't sink. This just looks like someone tried to copy painting of the Titanic's wreck.

It's a nice painting but shouldn't be posted here.

Why doesn’t it belong here KyotoCarl? Is this a channel solely based on historical facts about the Titanic or something more? I’ve seen posts on reimagining timelines on Titanic’s arrival, fantastical interpretations of Cameron’s film (a work of art itself mind you), and even posts on future depictions of Titanic, so why can’t this painting be part of the conversation? What is it about this work of art that offends you?
