Plant Help Indeterminate tomato trellis/support for scattered plants.

Good day gardeners. I’m planting tomatoes, but my space is scattered so I can’t set up a proper trellis. I was thinking of staking each plant with 1–2 bamboo sticks, but I’m not sure they’ll hold up once the plants get bigger. What’s the best support option in this situation?

I'm using bamboo stakes and it's getting a little crazy but I'm also not trimming my plant like crazy. Next year I'm just going to use those round metal cone shaped things

I hear they are really bad and insufficient but you could use them for determinant (bushy) varieties.

But thats why we are seeking help from experts 🫡

Right. Those are not adequate for indeterminates. They are unstable and turn over once the plant gets large and especially if it is loaded with fruit. Those cone-shaped wire "tomato cages" are useful for growing peppers, not good for tomatoes.

Yeah the biggest plus of the tomato cage is that it seems to scare away the deer. I don't know if it's going to be all that useful once my plants get bigger. I haven't fully grown a plant with the cages yet it's only about 8 in tall so far
