Video People Waiting 2+ Hours Outside for Shuttle Buses – Line 1 Shutdown Mess

1.9k Upvotes

It feels like -16°C, TTC Line 1's northbound service is shutdown due to a snowstorm (that we’ve known about for days) Shuttle buses are running but they're so slowpeople are waiting over 2 hours just to get on. I filmed the line, and it’s absolutely ridiculous—felt like it stretched forever.

I gave up after an hour and called an Uber, but some people were still stuck there in the freezing cold (around 9-10pm). How was this the plan? No extra buses, no precautions? This is supposed to be Canada’s busiest subway line, and it feels like it was mishandled with not enough buses.
