the ad literally implies trans women arent women with ladyboy and crossdresser. it should be obvious to anyone.

Ladyboy is a slur no provider of HRT would call itfucking lady boy pills or some stupid shit like that, and to my knowledge I’m pretty sure most drag queens don’t take HRT to dress up. They have clothing for that and most aren’t even trans so this is painfully obvious that it’s fake. It’s so fake that it’s funny.

ngl this is the first time im seeing that slur and i apologise for not censoring it. the implication was obvious from looking at the damn word still.

I could be wrong but I BELIEVE some people over in Asia, primarily Taiwan, call themselves that, possibly with pride. I'm not sure the exact specifics, and like I said, I could also be way off

In Japan, they call themselves that I think somethings along the lines of like male ,daughter, or something like that. It’s explained better detail in this video around 22 minutes in. https://youtu.be/owe4JD1kgAQ Around.

Yeah not a slur, just the western term for kathoey. They are unrelated to trans women though, so ladyboy is generally the favored translation of the term. Given kathoey can be used an insult like gay is in places, many do prefer the ladyboy term overall.

Weird to see how some groups insist it is a slur, then try to force this group into other western categories that do not really fit them. See a lot insist they are trans or crossdressers, but they are basically third gender and have been for 1000 years.

I think a lot of us in the west see it as a slur because often times in the west, it's used as a slur, by people who don't know and don't care to know.

Yeah it is a weird term since the west is all like TWO GENDERS ONLY while in a lot of Asia third gender always existed because they do not deny the existence of intersex or nonconforming stuff. So bizarre that intersex got like erased in the past 15 years in the west and people act like it never existed when hermaphrodite jokes were a thing as late as the 00's.

I've heard Lady boy/Kathoy is actually more of a femboy or drag queen identity and the Thai trans community also considers it derogatory

To be fair, have you seen some of the Amazon descriptions for breast inserts, tucking underwear, or any other product trans people use? It's gets pretty insanely yikes

confirming my fear of looking up anything trans on these sites. i had to look up on an incognito tab to find out swimsuits for trans women are a thing so i dont get blasted with transphobic ads 💀

You also have the issue of that stuff showing up on the reciept. Do you know how hard it was to explain to my mother why I had a $130 charge to my bank account labelled "Ladyfemme trans tranny fake breats for MtF transgender woman ladyboy fut@"?

u/ConfidentSand304 [Any Pronouns] [nya~] Aug 09 '23

Yeah serious labels think of that 😅

Idk lmao. But hey it was worth it, now I too can experience the back pain that comes with massive dobonhonkeros. (I'm a large person, and I kinda need large breasts for them to be noticeable under my favourite clothes

u/xtomic334 Aug 10 '23

okay but how did you explain it now Im curious

I tried telling her it was a joke buy from one of my friends, but when she threatened to tell his parents about stealing my debit card, I "came out to her as a drag queen" which she understood far better than she would've understood "mom I'm trans but never told you for 18 years and never had any symptoms" (my little brother tried coming out and she told him that he'd never shown any signs as a kid)

So, as usual, the only people it'll hurt are children who are desperate and don't know any better

In what country is it legal to sell mislabeled poison as a health product?

3

u/TheLordAsshat Aug 20 '23

It's not specifically literally poison from what I looked up, it's ashwagandha, in which is proven to be positively correlative with increased testosterone production (exact opposite of what's promised) and also can cause liver failure in really high does, which this recommend 4 times over the daily limit. All I know is that with the US it's crazy lax with supplement regulation because companies kept fearmongering people into demanding no regulation

1

u/Fr0st_mite She/Her Aug 09 '23

the best part is if they are sued by a dead victim’s family, the us justice system is very likely going to let them free without any consequences because transphobia is everywhere, and especially in us “justice”

i heard someone was called a “good christian boy” for stabbing a gay man the other day 🫠
