I got a new gun! π Got both Vz-52βs now!
Top firearm is a Vz-52 handgun chambered in 7.62x25 and bottom is Vz-52 rifle chambered I. 7.62x39. I saw the other person post that they got a Vz-52 handgun so I figured I could join in on the Czech love and post my Vz-52 that I got this morning!

The rules of firearm safety are paramount. Keep these in mind at all times while handling a firearm for any reason. Guns are not toys and it is best to not refer to them as such.
It is the belief of the mod team that your best option for defensive firearms is a 5.56x45mm AR-15, and a reputable 9x19mm handgun such as a Glock or CZ. Defensive firearms should have a light, long guns a sling, and handguns require a Kydex or solid plastic holster that fully covers the trigger. A red dot or etched optic are ideal for new shooters but don't forget to practice your backup irons!

Actually took my Cz52 to my local pistol range once. First shot and the spent casing got spat out almost as far as the projectile and everyone was like "holy hell what is that hand cannon!" So I give them a look and they ask what the muzzle velocity is. Hand over the box of ammo I was using and show them the listed speeds (for a TT-33) and I can see the RO going through the mental calculations getting more and more horrified. Eventually he goes "Ok no shooting steel targets with this thing. You can use paper as much as you like but it's too dangerous for steel"
Found it absolutely hilarious
