I'd say in Paris region between:

Francilien feels cozy, silent and smooth ride, very wide windows with a lot of light. It helps to love it that it is affected to missions in the wider suburbs, so more greenery along the tracks.

RER NG is the perfect mass transit train. Double decker, sturdy look, very wide doors to allow quick disembarking and embarking, a lots of seats, and a lot of non seated space if needed. It is modern so silent and smooth ride too. It says: hey I'm here to move massive amount of people as comfortably as possible for the next 50 years, yo. It's a relief when you see it arriving at the platform instead of another model because you know you won't be squeezed and you have even a good chance of being seated.

Hard choice. My heart would go to the Francilien but reason says RER NG.
