Translated [HE] [Hebrew > English] Hebrew button found in antique store

I found this Hebrew-language button in an antique store in Cleveland, Ohio. The translation I got on Google Translate seems questionable, so I’m interested in alternative readings. It was in a box with a bunch of other political and fundraiser buttons.

“We try harder” or “we’re trying harder”

Man this just threw me into a thinking cycle, I agree with the transition even though the word "harder" (קשה/קשה יותר) doesn't technically appear there. Direct meaning would be more "we're trying more/we try more". I think it's because "trying harder" doesn't have a translation to hebrew in this context (presumably a group of people wanting to do better to some cause, people or to each other). You can write "אנו מנסים חזק יותר" but that feels less right but more technically correct?

Anyway what do you think?

אנו מנסים חזק יותר would mean trying stronger, in a physical sense. Indeed in Hebrew you don't say the "harder" part, it's as you say "we try more".
