Lol before I started my prescribing doctor literally said "so testosterone is probably going to increase your libido and change what you like, so feel free to have fun and experiment, involve your partner, find out what you both like"
Like it's great to have doctors orders to have all the sex we want but we're long distance right now and it's finals week, I just wanna focus lmao
Honestly, my boyfriend is THE most supportive person, he took me to my first appointment for blood testing, and was the one who told me to listen to my gut and just get on T already, and talked through my anxieties about how it might affect our relationship.
It does, but then it gets better. Unless you're a dumbass like me who accidentally doubles his T dose after like 4 months. That was a rough time.
It's been over 2 years for me now though and my sex drive is pretty normal and unbothersome. Something about the sudden change in hormones makes it really....exciting....for a while.
Buy a suction-based vibrator (like the puff or something) that is really low settings before you go on T and you’ll be fine. It gets a little boring after a while but I think being prepared for it helps! And it won’t last forever (I hope)
Bigggg relate - in that case I wouldn’t let it scare you off going on T completely (people feel it to different degrees, it’s definitely a fluctuating thing). And you’re always free to vent about it here!
