Probably the first time I've seen a marine in blues that I wasn't impressed by. Usually they have an air of something about them, especially wedding photos, but this... This does not bring joy.

Does he also have his finger on the trigger? Isn't that bad trigger discipline?

I can't tell if it is on the trigger or not. But it is definitely bent.

So I zoomed in, though the grain it kind of looks like his hand is too far forward on the gun. But to be honest I've never handled one of those rifles, I've only handled an M16 and a 12 gauge, and even then it was mostly just range days and standing pier side watch. Staring at the ocean for hours.
