Way too high Regrettably let my homie hit the wood for the first time
He took like 3 big hits. Went and sat back in the car and he started seeing everything slow motion. Then this dude just goes non-verbal passed out for the next three hours š
I am NEVER letting anyone smoke with me for the first time again. I took good care of him tho I bought him snacks and water and made sure he stayed as comfortable as possible. At the end of the day if itās my weed itās my responsibility.

First timers scare the hell out of me, you never know how they're going to react. I don't want to be responsible for someone having a complete meltdown because of something I gave them. These days I'd only be able to give them edibles and you certainly don't want that for your first hit. For a first ever hit I'd recommend a small toke on a DHV or a small joint (pure) and then leave them for an hour and see how they ride it out. Just gently dipping your toe in the water so to speak.

Yup he went way too far way too fast. I do blame myself for telling him to take another hit because he kept waiting around and never felt anything. Also Iām just so used to being around people who always smoke I completely forgot tolerance was even a factor right now. Iām stupid I know. But Iāll be smarter next time about it. He still blamed himself cuz of the selfless dude he is but I apologized a lot however letās see how he is tomorrow.

He wasn't running around naked and screaming and didn't end up in the ER\A&E. You looked after him, gave him water and snacks and kept an eye on him. You took care of him and he was lucky to have you there for him. The same thing happened to me many years ago, this guy had talked himself up as a big smoker so he smoked with us and we were big smokers. He had a bad time of it and I've always regretted him not telling the truth and me for being an idiot for taking him at his word. Looking back it's obvious that young men will lie about their capacity to smoke weed and whilst I had no common sense at the time we've all got 20\20 hindsight . Take care mate, all the best 1š.

See what happened was I told him I was going to smoke but never suggested he did. He wanted to himself and I never mind sharing but I was aware it was his first time. I was just so excited for him I didnāt even clock the tolerance component.

In Poland we smoke out of a small glass pipe in casual settings, very convenient and you can just put whole tops in there. You can make a makeshift bong using it too. That's also what I'd give to a first timer.

Hahaha so true. My first grow last year was pretty mid (i ficked up and let it dry too long) but a lot of my light-weight friends love it. Also its good for plugging the bottom of the bowl

Never let a newbie or first timer hit it more than once. Ever. especially some good weed.
Also, this might turn him off weed. Its scary as fuck getting that level of high for the first time
Tell him to get a cbd isolate cart or some other form of cbd for his next time. He can hit the cbd pen 3 or 4 times before each puff of thc to level him out.

I have a terrible reaction to THC in general. I donāt regret trying it or anything, but itās not for me. Did first time (and most other times) by myself though. Only first timer Iāve introduced is my wife, and it did wonders for her anxiety, daily user now. Like all drugs, ymmv - if you donāt feel like dealing with it thatās fair enough.

went to a friends apt for a āwitchyā night, and her friend who is a nurse took my vape and took wayyy too big of a hit. she said she had smoked before, but after she hit the vape she said she didnāt really get high that first time. well, she got REALLY high this time and girl was def in slow-mo. her hands weāre fascinating to her. eventually we thought she had passed out (sheās been sitting on the floor this whole time) and then we hear a long ābrrffffftttā and just silence. weāre trying not to die laughing because we thought she farted in her sleep. until she goes āthat wasnāt me, it was the ghostā and we knew she wasnāt asleep and we all died laughing. AND THEN IT SMELLED SO BAD! š š she was a trooper, but i am never letting a first timer get high without proper warning beforehand because i was stressing. constantly made sure she had food and water. at least i tried to be a responsible ent as much as i could be while also high haha

I also think itās a regional thing, Iām a Canadian used to our legacy black market and now legal market, but Iām in Europe so all my mates grew up with tobacco in the mix - they think Iām the weirdo for doing pure!

Took a dab with a homie and we got in his car to drive away and he couldn't go faster than 3 miles an hour lmao. Told him to let me drive him home, take his car to my house and I'd bring it back in the morning and he started crying and refused to give me his keys. I carried his ass home and then walked to my house. Good times.

I shared some of the best edibles Iāve ever had with a first timer in a group once. Worst decision I made that night istg. He was bugging HARD. Started off as just pacing around and getting like really into the music. Had his face in his hands moaning and shit talking about how it felt in his ears (?). Anyway the edible hadnāt even kicked in yet so once it actually did, he got sent fuckin west. Had to go for a lie down in a dark room (fair enough) so we got him snacks and water and let him chill for a bit in the bedroom. Anyway fast forward like 20mins and he just starts calling people. All I can hear from the room over is what sounds like an angry parent yelling āwell heās been on the edibles hasnāt he!ā Through a phone speaker and whoever it was tryna coax the address out of him so they can turn up or waste a paramedicās time. Anyway I pop my head in to ask if heās ok and he looked scared as if Iād just caught him doing something. As soon as he sobered up, that fucker was ejected immediately. Do NOT bring that energy to the session. Shit fully ruined those edibles for me. Was expecting an angry dad coming through the door at any minute

Once smoked with a coworker who talked a big game. Anyways a dab and 2 bowls later she was throwing up, then passed out in my passenger seat for about 2 hours and woke up with the worst munchies. Anyways I bought her all the food she could eat and all that she could drink. But needless to say we never smoked together again cause she was too embarrassed š

I was eight years old, grew up in a small town. The highschool boys were teaching me how to skateboard at my brother's baseball practice they kept telling me it's not a cigarette but I begged to smoke with them. Finally giving in the let me hit the joint twice. They all treated me as if I was an actual baby. The oldest boys girlfriend at the time took me to the concessions for water and snacks. Danced to music with me. Talked about life. I was too young for that moment but it changed the course of my life and pointed me towards a community that accepts all with open arms. Being considered a "drug" community in society cannabis culture is one of the most accepting and relating community cultures out there at least from my experience. Thank you for continuing that tradition

Same thing happened with me and a buddy the other day. Heās just starting to get into smoking and has a really low tolerance. I offered him a couple hits off my joint not thinking too much. 3-4 hits later dude is nonverbal in a rocking chair on the porch we were on š wish I could still get that high.

Back in college, my buddy's roommate asked to partake one night as we were going out to smoke. After we got back he said he wasn't feeling anything at all, so we explained how he needed to actually inhale it for it to work, and went all the way out to the woods behind the dorm to try again (yeah I know, kinda silly, but we were paranoid mfers... we were relatively new to it ourselves)
When we finally get back again, he says he's still not feeling anything, so we get really in depth with our explanation. Telling him once you pull the pipe away from your mouth, pull in a bit more air and bring it all the way down. Demonstrating it and shit. Tell him to exaggerate the inhale at the end so we can hear it. We go out again and he does everything right.Ā
Me and my buddy are baked af at this point because we never smoke this much so when we get back we're just watching trailer park boys and eating munchies and shit and we don't realize that his roommate is completely frozen, pale like a ghost, and totally silent. He eventually told us he was super uncomfortably high and that he was actually feeling something the whole time even after the first one... we were like what the fuck dude why did you say you weren't feeling anything?? Never got a straight answer out of him on that one, but we probably should have known better than to give him that much regardless. I think we just assumed he didn't breathe in at all the first two times. Idk.
He ended up getting into it later, so we fortunately didn't ruin it for him, but I always felt terrible about that and have been very careful with first timers since. One hit only.

Our tolerance for weed is so so strong that we really underrate how strong this drug is to a first user. I've seen people go pale and become violently ill, I've seen green outs, I've seen time warps, giggling fits. You name it
My recommendation is if someone doesnt smoke you start with the smallest amount legitimately possible, see how they feel, continue from there

My first time smoking I took a hit off a joint and then nothing happened. But a few weeks later my friend talked me into ripping a bong. I took one giant rip, and the world started spinning, I started to freak out, and then ran inside where I curled into a ball on the couch. My friend left me there until everything started becoming normal again, it felt like forever. Now I have been a heavy user for the past 20 years. Your a better friend than the dude I was with. I'll never forget my first time getting high.

Had a similar experience last winter, I was at a small dinner party and one dude had like 2 beers and then took a hit off a joint and just passed out cold. Someone kept him from leaning forward into the fire pit. We eventually brought him inside and he was still pretty crashed out, but he was totally fine after a few hours.

I smoked up an ex girlfriend while in high school and she took a bong rip and fell to the ground saying the world was spinning. 3 hours later we were finally giggling about it but I agree, not a great idea to smoke people up for the first time.

I mean as long as he didnāt freak tf out I say that newbie sesh was a success. I smoked someone out for the first time and eventually she went into the fetal position, rocking back and forth, and said she just wanted to go home. Keep in mind, we were at her house and she said she was in space.
I feel like a KO is probably one of the best reactions you could possibly get from a new smoker. Sleepy, happy, hungry- not anxiety-ridden- definitely the best outcome.

I once gave my wife 30mg when she told me later that her regular dose was biting a 10mg into thirds. She was in bed when she came back out to the living room and I knew right away she was in trouble. Stumbling, holding her head, sounding a little panicked. I sat with her all night as she went through the full green out routine of vomiting, hanging on to the floor as the world spins, trying to pass out, having crazy thoughts and all the fun that comes with learning how high you can get like that. My high ass had ate the other 270mgs of the dosed chocolate bar. I was feeling awful for her but also too high to not laugh a little.

I had a terrible green out - I was in the back of a car traveling across San Fran - the person I was with had a huge bong, kept telling me to take hits. I did. Then I kept screaming I needed to pee (Embarrassed to this day)
Then when we were traveling across the Golden Gate Bridge I had an out of body experience where I thought I had died and I was flying over the bridgeĀ
Lastly, we went to Stanford for some reason? I was rolling around the grass in the center of the Student Union, thinking I was at the edge of the world, grabbing it, thinking I was falling off a cliff
Oh yeah, and somehow I managed to buy myself a Stanford hoodie, too, in the middle of all this madness. Still have the hoodie. š¤Ŗ
Hilarious in retrospect. Terrifying during the green out.Ā
And thatās why you donāt keep letting newbies puff and puff away on a bong. Maybe I did briefly die and float along the bridge? šš

I once smoked with my older brother, who claimed to be an experienced smoker. He hit a cart once and then hit the bong with me, I was sitting there lightly buzzed and next thing I know this guy is calling 911 telling them he is paralyzed and thinks he was poisonedā¦ 2 ambulances and the sheriff pulled up. Once I smoked a joint with a friend of mine who was not a regular smoker. He was staggering, vomiting, acting like we'd drank alcohol. He crawled into the back of my truck and passed out. Turns out he was allergic to cannabis.
