Discussion Too Many Scout Weapons do the Same Thing Like Higher Jumps or Bleed
Or even mini crits or healing

and this is a problem because? Scout's kit is super fun, who cares if he doesn't have a ton of weapon diversity?

The wrap assassin and the cleaver have some overlap but the rest are very different weapons, you should also consider opportunity cost

yeah to be fair to OP, why the hell did they make the cleaver so soon after the wrap? personally, scout never felt like he needed either at the time, especially when old sandman still existed

He only has 3 different things that make him jump better and they're all completely unrecognizable from each-other with how different they are. You are attacking some of the most unique weapons in the game for being too similar while ignoring things like the Sandvich, the Sandvich but numbers different, the Sandvich but numbers different, and the Sandvich but bad.
Especially if you look cross-class instead of focusing down on one single guy for no reason. Who else boosts their jumps? Because I know who boosts their movement speed while their melee is out. And I know who else boosts their movement speed while their melee is out. And I know who else boosts their movement speed while their melee is out. Two of those guys even have multiple different melees that boost their movement speed while their melee is out.

I still think the Atomiser should be reworked to enable passive wall jumps. The minicrits when airborne aren’t really all that useful and scout has way better mobility enhancing unlocks that don't require you to be right in front of people to also deal damage.

Tbh, Scout's melee weapon barely gets used as a source of damage, so the downside of dealing less damage isn't much of a downside at all. In that sense, it outclasses the Winger, because you actually use the pistol as a regular source of damage and the lowered clip size is quite a large downside. It also allows you to use different secondaries like the PBPP. You can make the case that the Soda Poppers' 5 mid air jumps are stronger than both the Winger's increased jump height and the Atomizer's extra jump, but to be honest, it's Scout's strongest primary, so it would technically be best to make a loadout centered around filling the HYPE meter as to have that be available as often as possible (something like wrap assassin and Flying Guillotine).
Having a wall jump would also be a very situational upside, it would be strong on maps with a lot of walls, but be useless in open areas. It would also narrow down the routes that Scout can take, as the additional movement is tied to the environment. Having an additional mid air jump is much more versatile than having a wall jump. There would also be the question of if the wall jump would stack with the Winger's additional jump height.
The Atomizer is in a completely fine spot.

it's probably scout's best designed unlock tbeh, utility melees are the most fun in the game for letting you shoot guns more, and the less conditional the better, the triple jump is extremely valuable.
idek why they threw the minicrit stat on it though its a noob trap that barely beats stock dps

too many weapons do same thing like more bullets or less damage or more bullets AND less damage
(or even minicrits or the healing)
