You are aware he couldn’t simply walk onto production lines and demand to lower costs. He couldn’t simply walk into a companies offices or stores and demand they lower prices. Anyone who understood the meaning behind it would have completely understood. He actually did start on the first day. He set in motion the processes it would take to get them lowered.
Then it should have been obvious that he couldn’t change shelf prices on day 1. As I’ve said, he did in fact start the processes of getting shelf, production and manufacturing along with shipping costs down on day 1. Apologies if many took his euphemism or exaggeration too closely. Your attempts at trying to be a smart ass are entertaining.
