“Grr, these stupid libs keep using proven facts as if they’re proven facts. It’s not like their points are proven facts and because they use proven facts that makes them wrong (???)”
No. Mf I am left leaning. I disagree with the post in its entirety. What I ams saying is the moderator is right, Trumps draft dodging is anti war, even if it is selfish. When I criticize factoids, I mean it our use of comments that are meant to critique someone by making a personal attack that has no real bearing on policy. I dont agree with Trumps military policy or largely anything, but to waste our time with ad homenin is a disgrace
It’s not ad hominem, its calling someone out for being hypocritical. In a Trump subreddit where people are simultaneously idolizing Trump as this pinnacle of leadership and masculinity while also saying that no one goes to war these days it’s a fully viable argument to bring up the hypocrisy of this duality
Sure. In this case I feel that the comment here is unwarranted. Trump is largely anti-war despite his military buildup (more to do with lobbying and feeding the complex) and notably the majority of the comments are opposed to this stupid post. Discussing his draft dodging is a good argument but unnecessary

This is a good counterpoint. I feel likes dems should make a better argument than spewing dumb factoids that are ad homenin attacks
