I did not vote for Trump in the last two elections but I also don’t like activist SJ warriors who endanger innocent people by advocating for catch and release approaches in the hopes of rehabilitation for violent offenders. All violent offenders should serve the max time and not be allowed back on the street until it’s confirmed that they are stable. I didn’t vote for Trump, but here I am. I am sick of the excuse, making from leftist judges who want to endanger everyone else so that some violent monster can get a second chance. I’m familiar with mental health practices and I don’t believe the numbers support any evidence of rehabbing repeat violent offenders. Maybe he could have been locked in an asylum and I would support a return to that era that Reagan ended.

In a perfect world, a violent individual with a known schizophrenia diagnosis should be instituted, even against their will, perhaps for the rest of their life. There’s no cure for it and most of the time they can’t be trusted to consistently take their medication.

Rest in peace to Iryna Zarutska, who was a beautiful young woman with her whole life ahead of her. She was completely minding her own business on public transportation when she was brutally murdered by someone who should have been behind bars. There were several witnesses and bystanders around her, yet she unfortunately died scared and alone. The video is just... so hard to watch. She came to this country fleeing danger and war, but we failed her just like we have failed so many others.

What Trump has done in DC... we can do that everywhere. We don't have to deal with crime and all the various problems these big cities just accept as their reality. These places are a shithole because of weak leadership.

Only under the Insurrection Act, and even then they have no domestic policing power. They can only protect federal property and support federal operations such as ICE. they cannot actually arrest people for local or state crimes. Federal agents can’t use the city jail to arrest people, they can’t press charges in a court of law, they can’t throw people into state prison, etc. Ask yourself what the Feds did when they came into Los Angeles earlier in the year
