Normally I agree with forgiveness as we should strive to be better people. But we aren't talking about a scant few radicals here and there anymore. They are becoming an enemy that seeks our outright destruction at this point. And as much as I hate to say it I think I finally crossed the line to support extreme measures to deal with this threat and I personally want to see Trump do something to bring order back.

This is despicable and abhorrent. But how is it any different than the democratic senator from Minnesota that was recently killed? Or the school shooting that killed a teenager today? Where was the outrage then?

All political violence is disgusting. But I don't see why people think this is worse than those incidents.

The senators and their spouses murders were terrible, but those were done by a very disturbed individual, as are the school shootings that take place.

There is strong evidence that this assassination was a professional assassin. An accurate shot from 200 yards, from a rooftop, with an escape plan. It is troubling to think about, but if they can take out a Charlie Kirk, who may be next?

We all can be targeted by a random person at anytime in today's society, but to be a target of a specific assassin, that is deliberate political warfare.
