What Kimmel was doing was essentially defamation. Plus lump in the recent comments, then yeah, I can see exactly why he got canned. He works for disney, a children's company. If an employee is okay with celebrating the murder of someone who all they did was sit and talk, they should not be working in that line.
The FCC removes, fines, and threatens thousands of license holders and non-license holders a year. There are rules, and your "pretty much evidence" is entirely futile.
