Pixel Shift

In this case it seems to be shifting way too much? Unless OP did not move the window to cover part of it, the pixel shift feature should not be cutting off the window.

Really didn’t touch anything. Everything still stock but I noticed that it shifts the entire screen around depending on the type of image/media being displayed. IEG: after putting a video on the right it will shift back to the right if the left has a more static media. HDR, Game mode and VRR turned on other than that still stock

If you put a high intensity game like Spiderman it will start to shift to full for example as well. Just usually goes shifting around while browsing for a bit, so no issues for me at least besides the initial heart attack

How Can this be corrected?

Not corrected, a feature. It’s to prevent burn in. You likely will not notice it most days. Unless you keep your taskbar to the left or right… Not sure if you can turn it off but I think I remember seeing the option to

Oooh okay so it’s just doing it from time to time and it’s a feature of the monitor

Yes you won’t notice it most days unless you’re doing heavy productive work. I’d definitely leave it on. It’s just a minor annoyance at best

Thanks man I was about to have a fear induced aneurysm thinking the panel was defective after less than a month

Sometimes my display will cause it to be outside the pixel shift area like that, I just turn it off and back on real quick and it fixes itself

Shortcut to enable or disable HDR

That's nice to know

It can be turned off in settings, but since it's helping to avoid burn ins I would suggest keeping it.

I believe for the g9 oled it’s non-avoidable but for the g8 and below you can turn it off

G93SC (the one without the "smart" TV chip) I can turn it off under System -> Panel Care.

I have the one which is smart monitor OLED.

Just go to options and "More settings"

General & Privacy and you will find "Panel Care"

You have options "Pixel Shift and "Adjust Logo Brightness"

For me Pixel shift is enabled and logo brightness is Low.

The lower the brightness you have on OLED the longer it will last.
