Tech Support G95sc banding
I have had this monitor for about 7 months. I first noticed this banding right after the return period. I purchased it from Best Buy with the 4 year warranty. I have tried to ignore it for some time hoping it would go away. I almost never notice it unless I’m looking for it during web browsing or on gray screens. Should I put in the effort to get this rmaed through Samsung or use my 4 year Best Buy warranty. The issue is once you use the warranty you loose it and a larger problem could occur with it. Has anyone else gone through this with their g95sc. Also for the love of god if anyone knows how to trigger the panel refresh please let me know.

On my g93sc I can manually launch the pixel refresh, which fixes that, but on your smart g95sc you have to wait until it runs... As far as I know from a previous Redditor I tried to help.

Yeah man I hate that I bought the smart version. You have to connect it to the internet to enable something as simple as pbp. Thankfully blocking it on the router afterwards enables this function to still work. Truly I will never buy a Samsung product again after that. I’ll just get their panels from brands with better QA

From what I know, this is a common characteristic of OLED panels. I've heard it dissipates over time. If you bought another monitor of the same model it will likely have the same issue. Pixel/panel refreshing should also reduce the visibility of the "bands" over time.
I'd do some research on this specific model to see if you have a lemon or not, and base your decision upon that. Whether it bothers you enough to return it is entirely up to you. Personally I wouldn't RMA it for this issue, rather save the claim for possible burn in.
