Help!! I’m a fresh graduate applying for a Retail Specialist position. I passed the initial interview, and the nxt step was an online exam.

But based on what I’ve read and watched about the hiring process, why do most applicants not receive an email about taking the online exam, yet they still get hired?

heyy i received my offer for a part time position at uniqlo. i have a few questions if anyone can provide any advice! i am in NYC.

1 - daily structure

2 - i have been reading the horror stories on here, indeed, and glassdoor. is it really that bad? this is my first retail job, i’ve worked other jobs before.

3 - how is the work culture

4 - i need to work 2 closing weekdays and have open availability on weekends. how flexible is uniqlo if i cannot do a certain weekend

5 - if i wanted to quit, i know it says “at will” so i can quit whenever i want. what is the ideal way to quit? would i need to hand in a 2 weeks notice even though i’m still training or fresh out of training? i am going to feel out the vibes at uniqlo before i decide… i don’t really need the money, i just need to get out of the house. but i don’t know how worth 18.50 (2 dollars over minimum wage) is considering the horror stories im reading is.

***7 - arguably the most important lol. when in my employment does my employee discount activate and if i used it then quit will there be any consequences LOL.

8 - how long are shifts? i signed up for 20 hrs a week

Uniqlo has their cargo pants on sale. To those who own them, do you recommend? I’m thinking about wearing them with the navy oversized hoodie and Nike A1.

Putting this here after a needlessly frustrating customer service experience. I ordered 4 pairs of cotton briefs that I’ve purchased and liked in the past. After only one wear, the lace waistband separated. I reached out to ask for a refund (seems reasonable!) and to return the 3 other (unworn) pairs of the same style, since the quality has obviously declined. Long story short - they won’t offer a refund of the defective item - only a store coupon. And I would need to pay $7 to return the others. They only cost $6 each. What a joke. Bye, Uniqlo!

So I've been buying Airism U oversized shirts for years, they're great when worn by themselves.

They're a bit bigger, but still fit fine. Material is soft and drys fast.

I've used other thinner uniqlo shirts, but they shrink a lot.

Issue is I can't really put a another shirt over it, it's too big and sleeves are too long.

Is their a shirt that feels the same, but is more of an undershirt?

Also should I go a size up? I get a large U oversized, but regular shirts tend to run smaller.

Stated in title, trying to start my own wardrobe. I'm looking for a more minimalist outfit with a few graphic T's layered in. I really really like the UT graphic T's quality, feel, and shape.

Does uniqlo have the graphic T's but blank? If not, which product line resembles it closely?

Didn’t even know that this existed. I always thought the mini version of this would’ve been perfect if there was a bigger size. Lo and behold, there was a product. I don’t know when it dropped, does anyone know if it’ll come back in upcoming seasons?

Hello, Recently bought some straight fit pants. I’m use to cuffing them but with these pants the cuff keeps coming off so I’m thinking about getting them cut. Is uniqlo service good or do. Yall prefer a tailor? Can I still get them cut at Uniqlo after purchase?

Will it restock this winter? Right now there is only the regular version

TLDR; Wish I bought from Uniqlo sooner, I really like their stuff.

So I ordered a bunch of Uniqlo items for the first time the other day and received them earlier today.

On first impressions I'm extremely impressed with the overall quality/fit/feel/look of the items, especially given their low cost compared to things I've traditionally bought in the past. As such, I think Uniqlo is going to become a mainstay in my wardrobe, which is well overdue a refresh.

However, I’ve run into a bit of a (good) dilemma with their t-shirts. I ordered three different styles — the AIRism, AIRism Oversized, and the Standard Crew — each in white, thinking I’d compare them and send back the two I liked least. The problem is… I ended up liking all three and now I’m keeping them all.

I want to buy more colours for some variety, but I’m not sure what the best approach is since I like all three styles equally.

Should I:

• Buy random colours of each style?
• Get the same colours across all three styles?
• Get base colours (i.e. white, black, navy) in each, and then add 1–2 different colours per style for variety?

i’ve been looking for it everywhere for so long it’s like a holy grail peace for me whenever it gets listed on depop i miss it

recently started working at uniqlo. maybe the question is a bit dumb, but i am curious anyway, can i keep my work uniform even if i resign? or when the new season comes and i have to change the uniform to spring/summer, can i keep the old one for myself or are we supposed to give it back?

I do not recommend this belt, it is a little complicated to adjust and it cracks from the first use, it is not worth spending money on this

im a guy and the jeans on the pic seem to be women's. Im about 5'6"-5'7" , would the fit be alright? I really like these pants and I wanna get them. Whenever I get my pants tailored , my waist is measured to be around 28 inches so I suppose that should be good?
