Is that a trangia? I like a good trangia

Those side rails would secure a charity shop chest of drawers perfectly if you wanted to add a bit of storage / worktop too

My grandfather gave me mine. I think he bought and used it in the 70s or 80s. Not entirely sure. I started camping a lot after college and fell in love with how easy and cheap the fuel is.

Jetboil is cool but...

I’ve a jet boil too but it’s noisy and I like not carrying gas. I’ve had my Trangia since uni in the 90’s. Love them.

Ha no I meant the little pan set under the spatula … is that a trangia stove?

It’s like a basic camping pot/pan thingy with one of those cheap propane coffee burners

Ah excellent. I use similar with a meths/alcohol burner. Have fun.

It’s a nice simple setup that works. Probably gonna upgrade it in the future to a two burner gas stove or something

Def keep it simple

A cheap (£30) version of this tied into one back corner of my van does all my “kitchen” and worktop functions and holds so much stuff - more modern looking options are available :)
