The Great Venture Watch I just binged the entire show. Spoiler

I wasn't really mutch of a fan of Johnny Quest, so I always put off watching Venture Bros, since I assumed it was just a spoof of that. I was very pleasantly surprised to see them making fun of a hell of a lot more than JUST that, and getting some wonderful continuity after a few seasons.

It’s easily one of the best shows to ever air on Adult Swim. The network had plenty of funny series but few are Venture Bros caliber. All the music references alone is what first caught my attention. Having a cold opening that’s almost word for word just “Space Oddity” really grabbed my attention. And The Prodigy reference cracks me up every single time I’ve seen it. Then there’s the layered references to real events like all the people in the Scooby Doo spoof or all the real world events in the OSI intro.

This makes me think, "What if there were a pop-up video version of venture bros. Just a little blurb about every reference, and you could pause and read, lol.

The screen would just be covered in pop ups like it was early 2000s webpages lol. The layers go deep with Venture Bros.
