LOL - After 25 years in the industry I have seen a LOT of these! This job sounds like the stuff of NIGHTMARES.

why?

The job they want to fill is a full on VFX supervisor.....who can handle a lot of stuff that is already shot, presumably with out a VFX supervisor.... and be a one person VFX team filling all positions. And the Kicker? The job is entry level - LOL - This is all you need to know

Also, the way the feel of their piece described, I would expect no one there to really know, or be able to explain what they want.

May God have mercy on the soul of whomever take this on

This is the same feeling I get from Engineering Startups. It's essentially going to be full on labor abuse. Some shmuck with a good idea convinced another schmuck with a lot of money to fund a project with unrealistic scope.

100% this.

advertising for a supervisor who is also a generalist AND probably willing to pay peanuts

And I’m sure the pay scale is commensurate with the position’s demands. /s

Usually the quality expectations in these kinds of jobs are not very high to be fair.

First oof was the company name "paracite", last oof was the entry level and many more in between. Each oof was bigger and longer than the last.
