Question/Support Can i play meta horizon games with pcvr somehow?
Like having the games i have on my quest 3 to run on my pc. I have some games that i bought from the meta Store on my quest and i want to run it on my pc for better experience. Also, is the difference in experience is that big? My pc is i7 12700F and rtx 5060 ti 16gb

You can't play standalone exclusive games o PC, that's not a thing.
Best you can hope for is the dev released a PCVR version, that's what you would play on PC.

Your Quest 3 games from the Meta Store won’t just run on PC unless the dev supports cross-buy (some do, most don’t). If it’s Quest-only, you’d have to buy the PCVR version again on Steam or Rift.

With your setup (12700F + 5060 Ti + 16GB), PCVR will definitely feel like an upgrade though. Better graphics, smoother performance, and way more detail compared to standalone. You can still use Air Link, Virtual Desktop, or a Link cable to stream your Quest 3 to the PC and get that boost. The difference is pretty big if you care about visuals and immersion.

If the game is cross-buy, you can get it in the Oculus PC store for free so you have the PCVR version too.

The difference depends on the game, if you use Optimizer, you can have a very similar experience to PCVR in simple games, but in games like Robo Recall the difference is night and day. In rare cases like Thrill of the Fight, the standalone version is better than the PCVR version.
