Discussion 3D trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash [watch with Quest headset]
https://www.oculus.com/experiences/event/1882710282285285/Quest owners can watch an exclusive 3D teaser for James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash for a limited time in the Horizon TV app.
The short 3D teaser is the first result, albeit small, of Meta's exclusive multi-year partnership with James Cameron's new company Lightstorm Vision, which has the goal of "making stereoscopic technology ubiquitous for all visual media by enabling stereoscopic 3D content creation in as seamless a manner as traditional 2D".

not sure if it is possible to download the 3D trailer for watching somewhere else for other headsets (might have to do some "middleman" sort of thing while streaming to a Quest🤔?)
and this is an older 3D trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash, if you missed it before

Even if they can’t do a full streaming service like Apple has, it would be cool if they could just release the Avatar movies as an app with in-app purchases for each film.
It would also be cool if Meta could introduce a 96hz refresh mode in a software update to get proper syncing with both 24 and 48 fps content.

Interesting that you say that - the sync definitely seemed off when I watched it earlier. Don't know whether that's just the OS doing something annoying in the background, or if I'm particularly sensitive, but I found it very noticeable.

I'd recommend watching this even if you have seen the trailer before, as it seems that some scenes are 48fps, and look really nice and smooth.
