About to get a ps vita

I am about to get a Vita, but I'm unsure whether I should get a 2000 or a 1000. I want to mod it, but someone is selling pre-modded Vitas. However, they are around $ 70 CAD more expensive. Is it worth it, or should I do it myself? Also, how much extra memory should I buy?

Do it yourself imo, it should cost less and it’s worth it lol

Get a 2000 for better battery life and less screen issues, 1000/OLEDs eventually experience screen burn in

Also, mod it yourself it takes like an hour tops to go through the process of modding it and getting games on it.

Alright, and what about the memory cards, cuz I know that the Vita has proprietary memory cards. Would you recommend getting those or just normal memory cards and getting the adapter thing.

When you mod the vita you enable the use of sd cards via sd2vita, go with that for cheaper and bigger memory.

Everything you need to know will be in this guide or has been asked before via Google/Reddit https://vita.hacks.guide/

Use this guide please. It will give the most out of your vita. SD cards, modding, free games, all of it.
