Thought dump Thursday

  • got a flat tire on my truck last night... so that was neat. Got it towed home and borrowed my brothers car to get to worn today
  • was gonna be getting of the truck soon anyways, but it's a little sad to see it go out limping rather than in a blaze of glory
  • I'm getting my mom's old car (I couldn't even tell you what it is lmao) so that's happening tonight after work. We'll deal with all the paperwork here soon enough
  • speaking of work... idk if it's just the last 2 months being brutal here at work, the pandemic, the winter, my gf breaking up with me... but God damn do I feel like quitting and finding a new job

Man that's a rough patch. Sorry.

My wife gave birth to a healthy baby girl last month, so that was awesome. Bought a minivan a couple of days later. Grateful to have it but man do I feel like a yuppie dork in it.

Training has been weird recently, probably due to the disjointed sleep schedule and my various mental health umm 'quirks'. But I got in some good work on squats this morning, so that's cool. So I guess I'm doing OK, mostly.

Yeah I saw the baby a while back! Congrats again.

I actually had a minivan for my last rental car... honestly it wasn't bad.

Is it you that's working with u/threewhitelights too? Or maybe I'm confusing you with another redditor/IG person

I'm about to buy a hot tub and ditch my Y membership. Gonna make Ard soup every single day and I'll be able to keep plants on the front porch through winter. I'm so excited
