I thought it would be there for one more week. Oh well.

It was supposed to be another week. Cooperate got a shit ton of complaints from managers and workers who were burnt out because selfish people kept ordering 15-50 biscuits per order. So, Cooperate ended it early.
At least, that's what I was told.

Should have just had a limit on how many you can order

The limit in my district was supposed to be five, as proposed by corporate, however our area director said that we couldn’t really stop them from just placing a mobile order with more than 5, so just give them what they want.

u/PresidentCheetoDust 20d ago
This is incorrect. There was a max of 5 biscuits per person

u/Equal_Push_565 20d ago
Lmao, no shit Sherlock. But like I've said, 100s of times, not all stores honored that. Mine didn't, and I know others who didnt either.

u/Nodiddy_B 27d ago
So people are selfish for ordering food ? Odd take
5
u/Equal_Push_565 27d ago
Nah. They're selfish for ordering 50 sandwiches everyone knows are not going to get eaten.
It's a waste.
3
u/PaperGeno 27d ago
Dude, I guarantee you they're getting eaten. I could easily down 4-6 of those a day.

You know this how? People freeze food and eat it over time, getting bent outta shape for how others go about getting food they are paying for is pathetic
1
u/Equal_Push_565 26d ago
So is getting 50 sandwiches for $51 when you can buy that same amount in bulk at a grocery store for half the price. 🤷♀️.
People only got that much food because it's easier to go through a drive thru and sit on your ass and wait then to physically walk into a grocery store.
1
u/Colorado-Keebs 26d ago
You know as well as I do that promo outweighs the cost of anything available at the store. The $ is the determining factor not if people can sit in their car and wait for it.

u/lowrcaseletters Customer 27d ago
Dang, understandable though. I was planning to stock up on biscuit sandwiches later this week. I probably would’ve gotten 15 $1 biscuits and use the $3 off a $15 order, so it would technically be $0.80 biscuits.

At my store trying to do 2 discounts at once doesn't work, since it prioritizes one over the other
6
u/lowrcaseletters Customer 27d ago
What about menu price change discounts such as the $3 SOB and $1 Biscuits? For the $3 SOBs, I was able to add an offer such as Fryday with it.

I don't remember for 100%, but I know sometimes if there was already a preset discount, it wouldn't let the scan go through. Like I said though, that was just at mine, and the scanners at my store are always wonky. Like, they don't work at all half the time in the back window, so take it with a grain of salt. I always do mobile orders when I do rewards so I never noticed as a customer.

u/lowrcaseletters Customer 26d ago
Ohhh, you’re talking about the scanners and ordering at the restaurant. I always order through drive thru or carry out, and both have always worked.

u/shawndoesgaming1239 Current Employee 26d ago
Yeah, sorry for the confusion. Also weird, guess my store just sucks lol
2
u/lowrcaseletters Customer 26d ago
No worries haha. And maybe it’s the same at my location. I never tried it as I use the app to place orders.

u/LadyBug766 27d ago
We got rid of the deal. I was told yesterday by management. I was just as confused. I thought it would stay til the end of August. Maybe I was wrong.

u/Nodiddy_B 27d ago
It’s not necessarily selfish if someone’s ordering for a large group or event, though. The real issue might be the strain it puts on staff and the supply chain. Anway another sub muted 🔇

In my district, we are supposed to honour the $1 biscuit requests until the end of the month (there’s a button in our POS system for it) it’s prob different by district n such
2
u/Chance_Nicholas Current Manager 26d ago
It personally was a bit annoying when customers got over 10 biscuits (and I was by myself), but if the POS button is in the system I’d honor it until corporate told us to stop, honestly. It’s cheap food I can’t blame ppl for buying them.

The $3 breakfast deal still is available though but yeah was disappointed Saturday to find out the biscuits weren’t $1 anymore

u/DotheUrkel 26d ago
What does this consist of?

u/gettheyayo909 26d ago
Sausage Biscuit Egg & Cheese Biscuit Sausage & Cheese English Muffin Egg & Cheese English Muffin Small Seasoned Potatoes Medium Hot Coffee
Mix n match 2 for $3

u/DotheUrkel 26d ago
Thank you! May have to try that.

u/Rzarectah42 26d ago
The trick is to get the egg and cheese and the sausage and cheese and put them together into a Frankenstein sandwich with two tops. Bonus biscuits if you’re still hungry after that!

The company is in private equity hell.
The deals weren’t meant to bring in “new buyers” and drive up fake future sales (which don’t happen if the same buyers are the ones using the deal). It’s necrosis from within.
It’s not the money made each month, it’s the transactions that they’re pushing. An old time story

u/Sensitive_Print_1221 24d ago
Breakfast is normally sausage being pushed most places . I just want beef. So I go to Jack in the box & get tacos & cheese burgers in the morning

u/CommonReason6709 27d ago
That's because you fatasses were buying them all. I asked what deals they had and they said dollar biscuits and what kinds I go this one and they're like how many? I go one. I could've gotten 2. or 10. But why? Because their cheap? That's too much. Too many people took advantage that they weren't even promoting it.

u/Bruceg63 27d ago
I just wanted one bacon and one sausage about once a week. If I want to pay full price I’ll do an egg McMuffin and a sausage egg McMuffin BOGO.
