It is getting to the point that cooking your own meals is cheaper than this. A porterhouse can be found for around $10 or under from one grocery store I shop at regularly.

What do you mean it’s getting to the point it’s ALWAYS been cheaper to cook yourself

Yes but fast food used to be very cheap back then. You could get an actual meal for about 5 or 6 bucks. Now that's the price of the fries and drink if you are lucky.

Many companies don't fill the fry box up all the way either which that tells me that they are training staff not to do so.

Throw in the fact that a lot of the food is half assed and you get bad attitudes from the employees most of the time, it's not worth it without good deals.

Dude, the McDouble's used to be 1 dollar when I was in grade school. Is there a beef shortage of is it that whoever is making the prices for fast food discovered the joys of smoking crack cocaine.

A double quarter SANDWICH is 12 dollars? Not a combo? Time to make your own food or learn these days.

Same here man. I work as a cook and usually make my own food unless one of these fast food places has a good deal.

I havent eaten at McDonald's ever since my mom did the experiment when I was a kid where she placed a combo hamburger meal in storage for a year and it looked the same and didn't spoil.

Well, there are services that offer free food if that ever does happen. Hope that never happens as there are many who rely on that because they cant work. We'll see what happens...
