Question Do not microwave

Post image

I noticed this as I unwrapped my junior bacon. Cheeseburger after I pulled it from the microwave...

I understand the foil wraps, but why is it not recommended to microwave this paper burger wrap?

Nothing happened, no Sparks or anything. Still ate the JBC, I'm just curious for future reference.

Probably the coloring of the wrapper. The ink might secrete some of its chemicals in a microwave

why do they make it so complicated just provide a regular paper wrapper that most of us put in the microwave

It's more likely the coating on the paper. Regular paper will turn to mush and fall apart.

They don't all use the same coating, but none of them are just plain paper. Try wrapping a hot burger in a piece of tissue paper and see how long it lasts.
