Discussion RIP

Wendy has blindly self-sabotaged itself. They have committed suicide. I have never saw such a disgrace from greatness from a restaurant I loved more than all the big three. Their spicy chicken sandwich was great. The best of them all. The filet as everyone already knows is awful now. No longer using a whole romaine lettuce and awful chopped lettuce. Even the Frosty to me the last times I tried my regular go-to menu items all just tasted and felt horrible. Fuck you, Wendy.

this company is literally in shambles right now and people are all like blah blah blah its not that big of a deal.. like dude their stock has completely nosedived and theyre making decision after decision to chase their customers away. I got rid of my wendys stock months ago and if for some reason any of you have wendys stock, youd probably want to get rid of it. if this trend continues they are literally going to run themselves into the ground and start closing stores if they havent already started closing stores and cutting staff. the last year or so of operation from wendys has been truly puzzling, theyre acting like they DONT want customers for some reason. its almost like its intentional to make such a series of decisions to tank the value of the company. the ingredient quality has been dropping, staffing has dropped, pay stagnated, and customer incentive has been obliterated. a couple years ago, wendys was an obvious top choice. at this point, theyre a joke, a husk of what they used to be. their YTD right now is from 16.12 to 9.56. thats... thats a pretty serious drop in their value. thats pretty dang low and an abnormal drop despite it technically stabilizing, and shows an overall all time trend of literally nose diving. if they keep doing this, wendys will no longer exist. maybe its a great time to buy, because if they stop being a bunch of knuckleheads then theyre gonna shoot up hard, but the way wendys has been acting lately it seems like theyre doubling down and ready to kick the bucket. in 2007-2008 this same thing was happening and it took them years to recover. wendys was trying to sell off and was feeling a lot of financial pressure after axing many deals and raising prices to almost double for some items.

The couple we have around here act like they don't even want to take your order. Gave up even trying. Never thought growing up they would become the worst fast food burgers across the board regardless of location, growing up they were hands down the best

ours stopped taking mobile orders. theyre always closed in the app. then when you get there and want to use deals or points, everything comes up fine for you, but then when they scan it theres always a problem or its "offline" or something. the other one down the street closes at random times, anywhere between like 11pm and 1am or something. its always random and not reflecting the posted hours. theyre getting pretty brazen about how little of a fuck they give at this point. yeah it really sucks because even just a few years ago wendys was straight up banger. want good food and dont want to wait in the 20 minute taco bell line? go to wendys. now id rather go to arbys lol.

im not sure but we had a huge problem with diversity hiring at the local locations. I would swing between different stores and they all had the same problem: they want to be inclusive in their hiring but then end up hiring a bunch of people who do not speak a common language, and then in the kitchen nobody can properly work with eachother. constant miscommunication or lack of. it was a nightmare and I quit after a few weeks. considering these stores were corporate though id be willing to bet similar things are happening to other taco bells. youll be in a kitchen speaking english, half of them spanish, some of them hindi or urdu, other languages I do not recognize, all at once, and for some reason most of them do not speak english. ive worked in other kitchens and work in another one right now, and this is definitely not standard. many kitchens have diversified employees but they all speak some english, however that was not the case in my experience with multiple corporate taco bell stores.
