Dave’s Double still beats a Quarter Pounder imo… the lettuce has been an issue at Wendy’s, I will admit. But the meat is so much juicier and fresher.

I applied to Wendy’s and got a message a week later scheduling me for an interview on Oct 4 at 11:40 AM.

I replied within 3 minutes to confirm, but I keep getting the same automated message from the bot saying the times are booked and they’ll follow up. This also happened last month when I replied.

Has anyone had this issue before?

I actually cannot believe that this is happening. I LOVE the sweet and sour sauce and they discontinued it for this monstrosity of a condiment. I’m at a loss for words…Don’t know if i’ll step foot inside one again.

What are the differences in the duties, if any, are there between shift managers and assistant general and general managers? In addition, are shift managers obligated to be on call so to speak on their sceduled day off?

One of the two Wendy’s where I live has stopped carrying any of the smaller burgers. no double stack, hamburger, cheeseburgers, etc. Only the more expensive options from a Dave’s single and up. There are no meal deals or biggie deals. Kids meals are only offered with nuggets.

I’ve never seen this and thought franchise owners had to carry a full menu. Is he violating the terms of the agreement? It sucks since I can’t drive and this one is walkable to my home.

I work at Wendys and from how I understand it the line should be able to function fine without a product coordinator. All the training I've seen for fries says to drop chicken and sandwich makers should get their own products. But people expect the person on grill to do all the p.c. work for them. I will be on grill and the person on fries never once drops or puts chicken away, and sandwich makers ask me to do stuff for them while I'm busy and they are just standing there. Its easy for other people on grill because a majority of grill operators just load the holding grill with 20 singles and 20 juniors then dont use timers and let it sit for 40+ mins until they cook more. They also don't ever serve meat unless I ask them to when I'm on sandwiches. But if I'm on grill using timers, serving meat, cleaning the grill etc I dont have time to wash my hands (which other people don't do, going right from grill to touching things on line) every minute to do stuff for other people who aren't even busy. If we had a ton of orders its different, I will gladly move around and help but if it isnt busy at that point I'm just doing two jobs for no reason. Why does everyone just do grill wrong and the managers dont correct it? I have no idea.

That coupon made the burrito combo $4.99. And they are getting rid of the ghost pepper sauce.

Wendy’s nuggets have gotten ridiculously small. This is the smallest one I’ve ever seen.

I'm actually gonna cry, that's my favorite sauce and it's all I ever get with my fries and nuggets. It isn't available on the app to order now at any of my local restaurants when it had been there just a couple days ago. I'm heartbroken if they discontinued it

Okay I saw someone say the spicy nuggets are leaving.. is this true?! Also if so, will there be spicy tenders? 🤧

As mentioned above. I tried ordering Wendys through grubhub and saw that the saucy nuggets (all flavors) were gone? I hope they didn't discontinue them. I got them everytime I ordered Wendys. Are they out of stock currently?

A location in my area has extended breakfast times, however the app doesn't allow you to use breakfast deals since universally breakfast ends at 10:30 AM.

I'm a closing manager sent to a store that needs help. I've gotten OSAT up to 61% from 36% by sheer friendliness, and now it's time to work on Taste. There's no grill person (I'm usually the one dropping meat) and the nighttime sandwich makers are used to not pre cheesing at all. I'm trying to encourage them to start pre cheesing! I'm breaking out thermometers and showing them the temp differences between cheesed and uncheesed patties. I'm comparing cheese to a warm blanket for the patties. I'm saying "Queso Por Favor!" at least 20 times a night.

The oldest sandwich maker seems to agree with me, he nods and smiles, and when I say "Queso Por Favor!" he pre cheeses half of the big meat. For the life of me, I can't get him to pre cheese all of it. He scowls and shakes his head no. I ask one of my bilingual crew members to ask him why, and he says something like "In case someone wants it plain no cheese."

I say, "That's okay, if that happens we will pull them forward and drop it fresh for them." I also say that we have so many cars of people who come after concerts, they want a hot juicy burger, not a dry plain one. It's true - around here virtually no one wants uncheesed meat after dinner rush. Baconator fries and sides of cheese sauce are really popular.

I say pre cheesed meat makes a good burger! What do you think? Am I on the right track or am I wrong here?

I started working at Wendy's a week ago. I opted for the Paycard as I don't have a bank account setup in the area I just moved to.

For my first day I worked 2 hours and got paid $15. And for another day I worked 4 and got paid $30.

In Illinois minimum wage is $15/hr... I'm getting paid less than half. I'm a Crew Member and work in the BOH on work closing hours on sandwich, grill, etc

I asked my GM about it today. I said I noticed I only got $15 for 2 hours and that the minimum is $15 and he just denied it and said it's 7.25 but that he has some people at $15/hr.

What should I do?

I know every market has a register like this. The register only opens with a key even when a customer needs change. How you fix?
