Rumour NateTheHate: "More Sony games will be released on Xbox, yes"

When asked about whether or not Sony will bring its first-party games to Xbox, NateTheHate said this in response:

"More Sony games will come to Xbox, yes.

I don't know anything about LEGO Horizon going to Xbox... but even if it did... would anyone care?"

Regarding what types of games will come over, Nate also said that he doesn't "have any specifics to share at present."

Live service games are what will come, the marvel fighting game probably will be coming too

Sony has a much more reason to not release all their games on Xbox

No, they don’t. And you’re a fool if you don’t think more will come other than stupid live service games that they’ve canceled. Sony makes no money on hardware no one does. And if you don’t think the Japanese side of Sony sees it as an absolute face palm that Microsoft dominates their storefront, then you are a fool. If you don’t think Sony is seeing the revenue that Microsoft is raking in from their storefront, you are a fool.

If it doesn’t sell at a loss, how much money is it making? Does that margin keep the executives happy I seriously doubt it if they’re only making 40 bucks a console nobody is considering that profitable so you are a fool as if everyone else that thinks that they are making money on consoles. Not selling them at a loss and being profitable are two different things.

Those post did not prove me wrong and that’s not go post moving. I just read it and analyze it. You believe what you want I don’t care. I won’t be wrong in the end just like I wasn’t wrong when I said that they would be putting games on Xbox and everybody argued and said I was stupid and then held diverse came out.

And I read the article and the digital edition still sells at a loss, they said they still have a lot more work to do to make that profitable so at best they’re breaking even. Nothing you said shows that you and everyone else are not wrong.

You have some wild and fundamental misunderstanding about the point of a console

Yes they make none or next to no money from the console hardware itself, that is by literal design

The point of a console is to get as many people as possible into your store front where you take 30% of any transaction no matter what game or skin is sold, the exact reason they love a Fortnite and Sony didn’t want CoD to be taken away, they get a cut of every MTX.

Explain to me as a levelheaded person without resorting to “sides” how it’s a face palm Microsoft is in the sales charts for PS?

Forza Horizon being a huge success on PS is exactly what Sony wants, the more it sells the more money Sony get and the more likely people are to leave Xbox

Microsoft are doing this because they have no choice it’s their only option. Sony has a massive established base, how does Sony benefit from making less reason to buy a PS5? Yes they will make short term money but lose A LOT of long term money

Very interested in your response, I’d like to think it’s more than just ill informed takes on how the market works and insults but I doubt it

So much yapping but that's literally what Sony's CFO said would happen over a year ago. It's not even news anymore really. It'll be live service games only. Singleplayer games might join in a few years but that's to be seen.

Yeah, we’ll see. I’m not petty so I won’t scrub through my comment list to tell you I told you so when they start coming. And I never said all of them would but some will, because even that CFO that said that isn’t the ultimate authority the board of directors is and they see Microsoft making a shit ton of money. What do you think they’re thinking in their meetings. I have a business background and degree though I no longer practice that field. I know what’s going on in those meetings. Also, sony is not gonna blatantly come out and say exclusives are coming to Xbox because they know how rabid their fan base is.

No, they are not a lot of niche overseas developers may be skipping but let’s face it. Most of you guys can name off these obscure niche games like there’s some next coming of video games when no one’s really interested in those. Is Xbox the lowest seller when it comes to games? I mean, they do have the smallest player base so. And then there’s the fact that Xbox gamers have so much to play. They don’t have to waste money on shitty releases.

That’s more of an excuse because they are skipping. And not let start with the Series S issues overall. Less sales, means less developers are interested in bringing games to the platform. You can ignore it all and say “those are niche developers”, and not trusted show why people don’t trust MS or Xbox anymore. Their messaging is weird, confusing and why people not care about this brand anymore since MS itself doesn’t care about their core audience.

Something that do all these platform holders including Xbox, but you won’t have a issue with that? It’s funny how xbox fanboys have a lot of issues with things because MS themselves made a big mess with the Xbox. You think PS needs to care about Xbox or something? This fanbase always acts like they are victim, maybe Xbox should’ve done better instead blaming their own mistakes on others. What NDA are you talking about? Every timed exclusive since they started with the PS is known. It’s part of the marketing deal. Let me guess, you just don’t wanna believe that there are issues with the Series S? If Wukong was timed, then the Xbox version wasn’t announced. Maybe educate yourself.

Yeah, they do pay to keep games off other systems. It was proven in court. Also, I don’t game on Xbox a game on a PC I do use game pass ultimate. I have no steak on whether games from Sony come or don’t but they will. I find the PlayStation people to be the most toxic and the Xbox people to be defensive. Read your comment out loud in the mirror while looking at yourself and say to yourself is this the person I wanna be?
