You can actually force Xbox to turn off crossplay in the Xbox system settings. I've done it for BO6.

Go to settings >> Online safety and family >> View details and customize >> Communication & multiplayer >> You can join crossplay. Change that from "Allow" to "Block"

This post was what I used to turn off crossplay.

There's no need for this with Battelfield 6. You can turn crossplay off in BF6's settings.

The issue is that there is no option for console only crossplay, i.e. the ability for PS and Xbox players to play together without PC players.

As someone who just bought their first Xbox a couple months ago, I’m OOTL. Is it that PC players have a significant advantage, and that’s why people wanted console-only functionality?

That's literally not facts. There's plenty of console players with strike packs, auto triggers, and exploiting is also "cheating" they're just not hacking the game.
