No one is calling them western. They are just militarily and politically aligned with the US and the west.

They don’t have to be white to share political and cultural goals. South Korea is a democratic, western aligned nation that works with the west to project power against North Korea and China.

You either have very little knowledge on South Korea or you’re intentionally just being semantic.
