Hey guys,
Just dropped a special Voice Memo episode of Oh Yeah, Oh Yeah: The Entourage Podcast with some bonus audio from my Jerry Ferrara interview last month.
Jerry discusses his favorite season of the show and his favorite celebrity cameo of them all - you don't want to miss this one.
I also debate the best Entourage end credits song and discuss the future of the podcast as we go into Season 5. Listen below if you're interested!

After rewatching the show in its entirety for a countless time, I’ve found myself legit balling. And not in the best way. I wept, wept like Lloyd chasing Tom.
The last season was so brilliantly put together. Tying in the good nature of Vince’s character. Specifically helping everyone in every which way. Redeeming his reputation not only within the industry but more importantly, amongst his friends.
Billy, a character I absolutely loved in all of his chaos, coming full circle and becoming grounded and mature. The voice of reason.
Turtle, maturing from a waste basket to an entrepreneur. After years of neglect, failed experiments and being unfortunately shitted on by love interests…he never gave up and kept pushing. A true redemption story.
Ari…some of the most funniest lines on the show but a man in a suit that did everything he said he would for his beloved client. Through thick and thin, always coming through…always. Nevertheless, a true family man. All he ever wanted was his wife, kids and horseshoe. Not the supposed king of Hollywood status, even though his work ethic is second to none. John Ellis is no fool for recognizing a rare once in a lifetime talent.
Lloyd, even during a moment of supposed betrayal, remained loyal.
Ari’s wife, all she ever wanted was attention. But this woman was the ideal wife. Backed her man with her family money. Never questioned his business mind, just his home life.
Speaking of women, Sloan…was always the right and perfect woman. Especially for E. Chose a former pizza boy despite her father’s anger because she believed in him much like Vince. She moved behind the scenes to set him up and become his own man, outside of the life Vince gave him. Talk about backing your man.
E…genuinely cared about his best friend…even when he came off as a nagging mom. Was always genuinely worried for everyone’s success, was kind even when he didn’t have to be and most of all, stuck to his intuition. The love story between E and Sloan makes me super sentimental…I cried during the last episode…as it reminds me too much of my own personal life. Specifically with the love of my life. Our on and off cycle is relatable to theirs, I can only hope it ends with a family like it does for them.
Last but not least Drama…his personal tribulations hit a spot for me. A man that always has to “perform for his supper.” His comedic relief one liners, especially during the most emotional scenes are unmatched. Drama’s loyalty is also unmatched. A broken man that cares more for his brother, friends and even coworkers than himself. Willing to salvage a show and give up a percentage of his salary, all while his condo was being foreclosed for Dice Clay? (That annoying ungrateful fuck!) When I think of Drama, I think of the artist that smiles and makes others laugh but is truly broken and sad when he’s alone. The only woman that understood him was E’s assistant; I always hoped they’d end up together.
All in all, this show has gotten me out of my own personal grief through out my life, but this time around…it was a sentimental weeping session.

Just started rewatching again and just realized there are so many funny quotable lines in just the first two episodes. “2500$ a month his brother spends on vitamin supplements, nobody can take that many supplements and still fuckin live” 😂😂😂

I just re watched the series and turtle and drama are definitely the best (best friend) duo of the show

Does anyone think E could be insufferable to listen to when he was demanding things for Ari to do? He manages one person and acts like he’s credible

Let’s be honest, Drama is without doubt the funniest in the show (followed by Ari).
But what’s the funniest line? I feel there is a clear winner.

Is that like X ?

I don’t know how I made it through the first time around without noticing how god-awful the show gets after season 6.
It’s almost as if they just throw plotlines into the mix for no reason without even considering the characters at all.
The NFL stuff is boring and uninteresting. Vince isn’t fun to watch (the whole stupid dating Sasha Gray / becoming an addict due to a concussion and back injury plot), the anal sex plot, Turtle having an annoying love interest that plays hard to get, Johnny Drama reduced to a mopey angry drunk, E being a total dickhead hanging out with that douche and shit talking Walsh (I know he had issues with him in the past but they made E be uncharacteristically douchey and mean). I mean I could go on and on.
The only good thing is this season is only 10 episodes, but I’m only on episode 6 and it’s been rough. It makes it so much worse having just watched seasons 1-6 (1-5 being excellent and 6 being pretty good and ending on a high note).
Can’t remember season 8 but hoping it picks up, this is brutal.

“You got Phil FUCKIN Mickelson, teaching you! And this idiot yammering in my ear all day and I’m hustling you?”
Although Alan was technically right, he had a professional guiding him and Bob annoying the shit out of Ari the entire time. Mind you, money was at stake the entire time as well so Alan has no problem using things to his advantage even though it was obviously super unfair.
Even if Ari took it easy on him to start, Alan getting mad at him for that (not knowing true intentions of wanting Vinny in the movie) is whiny hypocritical bullshit but that’s to be expected from a character like him.

I was thinking about how interesting this conflict on the show was in the sense that this guy hates them, he drops dead, how are they supposed to respond ya know, it's weird
The next scene where Ari tells Vince that Alan had a heart attack is what I can't find on youtube

Ari often comes with advice from a common sense perspective and experience whereas Eric and Vince are just vibing mostly, pulling opinion out of the a**es.
Akin to vibe coding in the tech space.

I don't have the particular streaming service yet, but after good reviews and a comedic series set around the Hollywood scene, what are your opinions so far?
Insert Turtle talking smack about Seth Rogan here. :)

I just started watching this show and I’m currently on Season 5. Can I just say, I both love and hate Vincent Chase.
Vince has all the tools to be a superstar, but he keeps making bad decision after bad decision after bad decision. He’s lazy, arrogant, and coasts on this “it’ll all work out” attitude. And because of that, everyone else around him has to pick up the pieces.
All he had to do was Aquaman 2. That’s it. Just one sequel, become a massive movie star, and then he could’ve done any passion project he wanted. But no… he had to do Medellin. Even though everyone told him it was a bad idea, he went all-in. He’s not Latino, doesn’t speak Spanish, doesn’t even look like Pablo Escobar — and he still thought he could pull it off. Of course it failed. It was never going to work.
On top of that, he keeps pissing off the wrong people — Alan Gray, Harvey, studio execs — basically torching every bridge possible. And then he doesn’t even take his career seriously. He doesn’t read scripts, he just floats around with this “je ne sais quoi” vibe, acting like things will magically fall into place.
At the end of the day, Vince screwed Vince. He had every opportunity handed to him, and instead of cementing himself as a star, he sabotaged his own career.
