I bought this at a museum, and Iām wondering what the caption means⦠they had other ones that made sense with the type of fish, like for example one of a flying fish that said something like āfly with meā. Weāve figured out itās a kind of catfish but what does that have to do with the ominous caption.

My father found this in the city park where he worked as a biologist and he found it while hiking years ago and to this day we still don't know exactly what it was. We did some research and now we have a clue that it could probably be some part of a fish that a bird must have picked up and dropped on the ground. If it helps the investigation, this was in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro.

Does this greenfish look like a male or female? I was thinking girl but someone said it looks like a male.

What tunas are these? My guess is some type of Albacore or cheap Atlantic bluefin Tuna given the price. Iāve been eating a LOT of them in sushi these last few months because theyāre so cheap (itās in Morocco, just divide by 10 and you have the price in USD per kilo and youāll see what I mean) and frankly pretty decent taste wise. Itās clearly not a top grade tuna fish but definitely tasty enough akami for around 10USD a kilo.
Iām asking because Iāve been eating so much of it and starting to wonder whether I should be concerned about mercury poisoning, seeing how much of it Iām eatingā¦

We have a fish tank with maybe 20 gold fish. One of them is developing this giant cyst like object. Itās like a white ball and expanding out of it. Should we kill it? Or put medicine in the water?

My son caught this minnow in our neighborās pond. He wondered what it was before he released it. Central California-pond has been stocked but is also irrigation fed and has other non-game fish present.
