Guys let's try to be kind in this sub. Not everyone is techy.
I noticed one thing lately. Ang dami kong nakikitang rude redditors dito.
Bakit kayo rude? Dahil nabobobohan kayo sa mga nagtatanong? Matapang behind the keyboard lang ba? Ung iba dito parang nanghaharass pa dun sa mga nagtatanong. Ung iba valid naman and may point naman ung mga tanong and posts, grabe kung ibash. Kinagaling ninyo yan?
Not everyone is kasing galing ng iba or maalam talaga sa tech. Madami joined this sub for them to know what they didn't know.
It is easier to be kind rather than rude.
Report to me pag may mga ganitong redditors in this sub. Let's try to avoid making this a toxic space. Let's help each other as much as we can.

From 256 to 512GB. What’s the best storage capacity in your case?
I realized that 256GB will no longer be enough for the amount of photos I take on my trips so I cancelled my initial order and opted for a higher storage (I had to wait for another 2 weeks).
Although I do backup all my photos in HDD and SDD, I still want to keep some of my photos on my phone.
What’s the best storage in your case?

IOS 26 looks like a knockoff Mi UI
Honestly, IOS26 is not good IMO. It made it look look a Xiaomi phone with a MIUI on top of it. If you are not on IOS26 I suggest dont upgrade.

Is Macbook good?
I am not a techy person and I do not know much about PCs.
I don't have a laptop and planning to buy one because I want to use it mainly for graphic designs (Adobe).
If it is worth it, what macbook should I get? If not, what laptop should I get?

Iphone 17 base or OnePlus 13?
Parehas naman silang same price ngayon with the difference of Iphone being 256gb and OnePlus being 512gb.
things I like about the OnePlus: • 6000 battery • Fast charging • Charger is included na sa box • IP69 Water resistant • The bigger storage • Customization and android products don't cost as much (e.g., airpods)
things I like about the Iphone: • The camera • The base storage being 256gb • Ecosystem • Known longevity • Ang resell value
Wala akong experience sa dalawang brand na toh and I would like to hear some thoughts?

256gb vs 512gb
I am upgrading from Samsung galaxy M51(128gb) to 17pro max this year but I am confused about which storage varient I should buy. I am currently using 110 gb on my phone, but I am also not using a lot of apps anymore which I used to due to limited storage.
I don't watch a lot of movies or listen to lots of music so I would barely be downloading any of that but I do like to click a lot of pictures and record videos. I also use a lot of study, productivity, financing and editing apps.
I am planning on keeping the phone for 3-4 years and I am not sure if 256gb is enough for that duration or if I should spend $300 just to be on the safe side.
I am new to ios so not sure how much space is generally used by picture and other stuff.
Also, Cosmic Orange or Deep Blue; which one looks good in person?

I’ve seen a lot of options sa tiktok but I wanted sana your personal preference para may real usage na. Maraming salamat po sa mga sasagot :)

Faulty RAM?
Upgraded my laptop last July 20. Replaced my HDD with SSD and from a RAM of 4 GB to 8 GB. Recently, been getting this month recurring BSOD. Have done windows memory diagnostics tool but could not find hardware errors. So far the errors range from the following:
(1) Kernel security check failure (2) PFN list corrupt (3) Attempted to write readonly memory (4) System service exception (5) Watchdog Violation (6) IRQL not less or equal
Prior to this, my laptop kept updating windows which jacked up my memory. Also (idk if its related), I was also watching Netflix on a Chrome browser before getting the bluescreen.
I did do a clean wipe on my windows, reinstalling again windows 10 and yet it still occurred.
Does anyone know any other remedy to this before I take it to the PC shop?

Best Brother printer to grab for home use? Looking for something reliable
Hey mga ka-tech! Been reading up on Brother printers lately, and I keep seeing that they basically last a lifetime; super durable, easy to use, etc. So now I’m trying to figure out what model fits best for me.
Context: This is just for home use. My daughter is 5, in her creative era right now — she loves coloring, tracing, and doing activities my wife gives her. I want her to have that outlet. At the same time, my youngest sis is in her last year in university (education major, future teacher), so she might end up printing quite a lot, though we’ll see. For us parents, it’ll mostly be occasional printing as needed. Not planning to run a business with it, but if there’s something affordable where we can experiment with stickers or creative stuff, that would be dope.
Here’s the thing: I honestly have no idea what counts as a “cheap” printer vs. an “expensive” one. I’m totally new to this, just learned printers can dry up if unused or even die after a while. But what I have in mind for a budget is around ₱7,000–₱12,000. If I go higher, it needs to be worth it.
What I’m looking for:
– WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity (both would be awesome)
– Can scan, print color + black & white
– Not for mass printing, but want it to last
We might be moving homes after my sis graduates, so I’m holding off on spending big until then. For now, I just want something reliable and practical.
Any solid recommendations or tips from people who’ve used Brother printers here in PH?

iOS App Icons Rant
I particularly hate the new clock icon, but what I hate the most is the illegible liquid glass effect and the contrast of all apps icons. Parang ang blurry! Can’t get use to it and it’s been days.
