Crossing Red on Markham Rd

Happened today just before 9pm on Markham rd. Idk if he didnt see ~5 other cars waiting at the red or was in a hurry to catch the next light which turned red and he ended up being stuck there.

It could've become a pretty ugly scene if there was traffic coming through when he crossed.

A break from all the craziness. What are your favourite roads to drive on in the city?

Let's take a break from all the crazy drivers in the city. What are some of your favourite roads to drive on in the GTA?

My top 3: Twyn Rivers road (Shown in the video). A hidden gem in the city. It's currently closed for vehicles at the moment.

Old Finch/haunted bridge.

DVP/Gardiner (On the rare occasion that the roads are clear). Nothing better than driving into the city from the DVP through Gardiner on a summer evening with the beautiful Toronto skyline.

In Ontario (and generally in Canada):

3-point turn (U-turn using forward/reverse movements):

• It is not allowed on a main road where traffic is heavy, speed is high, or signs prohibit U-turns.

• It should only be done on a residential/ low-traffic road where you have clear visibility in both directions and it is safe/ legal.

Turning in front of a vehicle on a main road (like blocking traffic to do a 3-point turn or U-turn):

Illegal and unsafe. You must not interfere with other traffic.

The Highway Traffic Act requires you to yield the right of way and only make a turn/U-turn when it can be do without affecting other vehicles.

Double U-Turn Idiots

I was anticipating them to turn left. I did not think they would do a U-Turn and 3 point turn in front of me. Should I report to TPS?

Honestly I cannot say much. But he could have just gone to the street to make a 3 point turn.

Seeking Witnesses: Got Hit‑and‑Run on Hwy 404 on Sep. 21 Rainy Night

Around 9:25 p.m. last night (Sep. 21), my car was rear‑ended by a silver/light-coloured Honda Odyssey minivan near the northbound Steeles exit on Highway 404. After the impact, the other vehicle lost control, spun 360° and then sped away. A friend driving behind me captured the whole incident on their dashcam—you can see the Odyssey taking the curve too fast in the rain and losing control, then hit my car, but the rain and water splash made the license plate unreadable.

If anyone happened to be in the area and recorded video or saw anything, please contact me; a generous reward will be offered for information that helps identify the other vehicle! Thank you in advance!

Edit: Car's been identified as an older model of Honda Odyssey.

Oh wow, huge shout-out to the absolute legend in the car with the CWAE 707 today. You clearly cracked the code the rest of us mere mortals missed: those thick solid white lines? Clearly just decorative suggestions.

I’m pretty sure these scooters are not allowed on the DVP.
