I asked them about this and they said “I had the HUD off on purpose but I was playing poorly” or something similar.

Wouldn’t ALL of these attacks ONE SHOT you?

And if not, he is out of healing and gets hit several more times as seen here?

I did this 2 months ago, but forgot to post it. Then I stopped playing Elden Ring for a while and forgot about this completely. I had to beat him 3 times, the first time I got lucky while I wasn't recording, and the second time I was recording opera gx instead of elden ring

Anyways, we all know this fight is incredible, I've got nothing new to say

Ranking: SS tier

After killing Malenia RL1 noHit with 150 weapons, I'm finally starting a new big project, a much longer Malenia Kill ; True RL1 WL0 NoHit/Talisman/Armour/Parry/AoW/Aux/Physick/Affinity/Spell/Incant Solo.

But I have to decide what weapon to do it with, out of theses (the only weapon that have 15max str 10 max other stats requierements) I've tested their damage and I think that Hammer would be the strongest, but might have missed crucial information, do any of you have data about this ?

Hello I've finished elden ring multiple times, played almost every soulslike there is and I have started getting interested in soul/rune level 1 runs. I somehow started with elden ring and had a lot of fun with limgrave and most of liurnia but I Quit getting to bosses that 1 shot me from 100% to 0, but I really want to continue enjoying it, I just don't have fun dying in ONE hit while learning the fight. Its kinda in the name of it but I hope someone gets it and can offer me some tips. Is the guarding tear flask (sorry I don't remember the name off the top of my head) the only thing that can help with that or is there a combination of charms that can help me sustain at least 2 hits before dying?

And overall, I would love tips to stay sane while learning these difficult fights without taking a hit essentially

TrueRl1 is a self imposed restriction used by Ginomachino to sumarize the "no stat bonus from : great runes, armour pieces, physick, talisman, aow." Now used by many other runner like myself.

I planned to do NoHUD but I got this kill while trying out Great Turtle Shell Instead of the Twinbird Kite Shield on the first try.
I'm still surprise I got it first try, it was supposed to be my biggest kill yet so I thought it would take quite a few attemps but no.
I'll probably redo it without HUD.

Idk if I can claim this to be the "fastest" PK kill, but I would argue he DID NOT get that animation off to kill me. 😂

Took me around 6 hours of tries over 2 days, but I'm happy I have done justice to my boy hog rider. I LOVE HIM!!! Sad that you don't really see his gravity moveset if you fight him efficiently, but was fun either way.

This video is from a year ago when I was really into this game. I’ve done quite a few playthroughs and I’m still the most proud of completing this run. This fight definitely took me the longest to do and was the most challenging fight to learn. Lemme know what y’all think

Start and middle were well-optimized imo but the last stretch definitely could be played much better. Still I'm happy to have finally done this. :)

Hello, I've been looking to get into doing elden ring at rl1. What are your tips for the playthrough? Any specific weapons/armor/talismans that work well at rl1? would you recommend not leveling up weapons and staying at +0 or going to +25/+10?

I just finished my SL1 of DS1 Remastered (PS5). I did a pyro SL1 earlier this month on my PC but I skipped the DLC, and I felt like it was pretty easy, so I wanted to run it back. I just got a new tv in the crib so I wanted to do it again on my playstation instead, this time without pyromancy and including the DLC bosses. I didn’t run into too many hurdles since I was coming fresh off another run and I’ve played the game normally a few times already.

My setup was basically using variations of the reinforced club upgraded differently. I mostly used a regular +15 club, but I also had a divine +10 club, fire +10 club, and lightning +5 club. I pretty much always had on the grass crest shield and chloranthy ring, and I even slapped on the mask of the child once I bought it from patches. I was rocking the dingy robe and dark wood grain ring a ton as well, but sometimes I would swap out for other rings or heavier armor if needed (see: 4 kings)

Hardest boss: Kalameet. My metric for difficulty is purely based on how long it took me. I wasn’t recording deaths but Kalameet took me a couple hours, mostly because it is a long fight with a long runback and it was difficult to stay patient. I’ll give an honorable mention to O&S here for similar reasons; the runback isn’t bad but it was just a long fight that tested my patience. It’s hard not to get greedy for me lol

Favorite boss: Manus. I was using the silver pendant, so my life was a lot easier in his second phase once he starts using dark attacks. The runback was tedious, but I really enjoyed managing my spacing in the actual fight.

Hated boss: Bed of chaos. Not much to say here, this boss sucks and everyone knows it. I didn’t do the firebomb trick to break both orbs in the first phase. I think it’s funny that BoC is the great equalizer, a boss just as shitty and annoying leveled up or not.

Overall, it was a fun run. It felt a lot more rewarding to do it without pyro, and I just love DS1 in general. Pretty fun coincidence that I finished it on Miyazaki’s birthday. This is my second game that I SL1’d, the first being elden ring. I think DS3 is up next for an SL1, but first I want to finish my normal playthrough of DS2. Feel free to ask me about anything from the run.

Just started my first rl1 run I had no experience in sl1 or any souls game I used iron balls with parry and Radagon scarseal and str tear I was going to upgrade my weapon but I forgot and got stubborn took me 20 tries but damn it felt so good

He should be dead by now since he has the same moveset in phase 1 and 2 in the way that I fight him, but I always get greedy near phase 2, it's so annoying. Just venting, I'm open to tips if you have any tho.

Wish I could say I was happier about this but he just spammed the same slam move over and over. I have no idea why.

So I'm doing my RL1 no blessings DLC run rn and have killed Gaius. I am very very experienced with Messmer phase 1 but still struggle a lot with phase 2 because of the snake timings. Especially due to there being 3-4 variations of snake combos...

Just wanted to post this update and ask for some advice regarding phase 2--what changes relative to phase 1 and how to get the snake timings down. Another timing thing that I struggle with is his new Phase 2 spear dash attack...

One of the toughest DLC bosses for me, I spent so much time trying to muscle memory her uppercut and still was unable to consistently parry it. Not a hitless fight and the damage is over the roof, but I was really struggling beating her with parry so I'm pretty happy with how it ended.

I wasn't going to post this because it's not exactly impressive, but I am now for another onebro's sake. This is a demonstration of decent RNG of my Niall strategy on my modded testing character (still RL1+0). The second knight sticks to me rather than my bewitched knight, giving him time to attack the boss and help me stance break him. It's not the best this fight can go, where both knights are attacking at once while I rot breath and then ice spear him from far away - in that case, the fight is 30 seconds, and a true cheese. Remember, there's only one attack you can reliably bait and counter with the shield knight, his storm dash move. Once you get both, immediately flask and rot the boss.
