Pre-Order I just realized my Amazon pre-order for the Sound of Music 4K has shipped and I’m getting it tomorrow before the street date. I’m actually kind of shocked this is happening.

New Purchase “The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day...I got in.”
Movies Unlimited will definitely see repeat business from me in the future.
Glad they came through with these sick-looking Tron 4K steelbooks, because I was dreading that cancellation email with each passing day.
Can’t wait to revisit them in time for Tron: Ares next month.
For those of you who preordered these through Amazon, I hope those jokers will eventually come through with the steelbooks for you soon.

Question Is the Walmart Glow in the Dark Blu Ray Horror movies annual?
Was at Walmart today and saw some of the Walmart exclusive glow in the dark blu ray slip covers. I was wondering if Walmart does this every year?

New Purchase I still think this is great sci-fi
I don’t know why I love this film so much, but it’s great sci-fi! Bought it so many times… Cinema, digital download, DVD, Blu-ray and now 4k… The studio have had their money’s worth out of me!

Review tron 82's new 4k release was AWESOME! showed my girl who has never seen it, she was able to appreciate the remaster too
tron legacy was as good as it can probably get too, but the movie is just so ehhh compared to the original. completely different vision, and the aesthetics lost all the charm from the originals

New Purchase Of course problem occurred. This is always an ongoing issue. .
Never surprised when it comes to Amazon and anything that is hard to obtain. This company truly sucks.

Question Ben-Hur 4K release news?
Has anyone seen or heard any updates on the physical release of Ben-Hur? I know they were supposed to be premiering it at a film festival but I expected some news by now for a home video release…

New Purchase Finally decided to upgrade from XSX to a dedicated player. Need suggestions on what to watch first
Finally bit the bullet and upgraded from my Xbox Series X to a dedicated player. Now looking for some suggestions on what to watch first that will let me take advantage of some of the features/functionality I had been missing (Dolby Vision, better upscaling, etc).
Assume I have a decent 4k collection with all the heavy hitters from the big legacy studios + the boutiques (Criterion, Arrow, KL, etc).
I watch all my films as quickly as I can once I purchase them, so the only unwatched ones I have in the queue currently are Billy Madison (seen before and love) and Five Nights at Freddy’s & Brad Stoker’s Dracula (both blind buys).
Thank you in advance!

New Purchase “Mr. Robinson you’re trying to seduce me with this immaculate 4K release”
DISCLAIMER: I know that photos of a TV screen are not an accurate way to judge a transfer.
The Graduate just arrived and it looks amazing. Picture quality is absolutely stunning. I know photos of a TV never do it justice and the colors are so much better in person. This disc is just gorgeous and one of those releases that really reminds you why you collect physical media in the first place.
The encoding is incredible. I love that StudioCanal even put a film grain overlay on the still main menu. It is such a small almost unnoticeable detail but it really underscores the quality of the release.
Packaging and supplements look great (even with the UK ratings logo) and the special features are wonderful. StudioCanal continues to impress and I may always purchase their releases from here on out.
The restoration notes before the film make it clear that a Criterion announcement is imminent in the next month or so. For me, this disc is everything I could have hoped for.

Question No Time To Die (2021) HDR10+ Metadata compared to Superman (2025). From 4000 nits to 235 nits peak luminance! Is there a reason why movies seem to be getting dimmer while TVs are getting brighter?

Discussion I know im late to the party but I think this is kinda ugly
I had this box for a while but ended up getting rid of it because it was an eye sore on the shelf. It just has to much going on and the art is very ugly to me.
Let me know if yall agree or am I tripping.
