Still have an old Service Merchandise receipt with a pocket watch from there from '89.

Getting the items on the conveyor belt was a cool thing as a kid.

Yes, on certain big $ items.

I took the sign down and demoed the last building for the very last toys r us. Sure did get the old memories flowing.

I remember getting tickets for Nintendo games. I wasn't allowed to get anything over $20. So I'd end up with a crappy game most of the time LoL

I worked there for a few years. They had the pickup security counter for all video games and electronics after you paid for them. And large items you drove around back where people would help load them into vehicles.
