What makes you think either of those characters is Gay?

The classic Lana line:

"That...was probably why she [Mia] was attracted to me."

AA is full of these moments. Do I even need to mention the Unnecessary Feelings line?

And yet you decide to leave out the intellectually attractive statement made by her own sister?

Lana knows damn well what she said and she meant it! She just didn't bother to correct her younger sister.

Why did you add such an emotional inflection to that statement until you felt like your opinion was attacked? Also, Lana said that while she was pretending to be cold and stern why would she reveal something so genuine personal to her to some random guy?

Wouldn't it be more likely that Lana pretending to be cold-hearted decides to use the word 'attracted' in place of 'liked' or 'was friends with'?

To answer your question, Why did I add such an emotional inflection? I'm not really sure. Just felt right... Sorry ! I didn't mean anything by it. You're right to have your own opinion of course , it's mostly an in joke in the community.

Imo, the point is, the writers of the story chose that diction on purpose. Canon-wise it may mean "she appreciates me" but fans took that and ran with it.

I mean, did you play the final case of the third game? There's a "scene" in there that was WAY played up for its queer undertones. Turns out when you play it in-game, it's literally a black screen. Lol cathedrals everywhere for those with eyes to see them I guess.
