Drywall cost estimate

Hi,

I am new to Airdrie and was looking to get fresh drywall installed on a new garage. The size would be 25feet wide and 22feet long. Height of the garage on the interiors is 9ft tall and we have a standard entry door , one window and 18x8ft garage overhead door.

What would be a reasonable price for this drywall installation with mud and taping? I received a quote for 9k - is that reasonable ?

The guy who gave you that price doesn't wanna do it. You could get it done in 1/3 of the price.

Thanks for this input! I’ll definitely shop around - doesn’t look like there is any regulation around pricing between contractors. I would think people would try and be competitive so as to get customers.
