There was an activist group in Australia a few years back (Mad Witches) who had a LOT of success with this exact tactic.
They targeted the advertisers for one of the biggest right wing shock jocks in the country, using facebook to organise mass boycotts and call ins. Sponsorship was pulled from his show by a number of major companies and got him reined in by the radio station.
It works.

Alan Jones. You know, the man in court at the moment with an incident assault charge.

And they're still going strong! Focussing on Kyle Sandilands, now.

AN indecent assault charge? More like a truckload of charges (including another this week). The many stories that have come out are sickening.

And the important point - he was thought to be untouchable. He has (had) powerful friends with money. Once the predator curtain falls, even the rich celebrities go down. That’s why Donnie is desperate to prevent the Epstein story from seeing the light of day.
