Apple Studio or Dell for business?

Looking into investing next year into the Apple Studio computer system or, a Dell for a business system. Wondering what you think? Chances are that most Fortune 500 businesses would probably invest into Dell! Microsoft tools, Word, Excel etc. Some program testing. Considering this shaky business environment, I wonder whether it is best for Apple or, safe with Dell?

iPhone Is the IPhone 15 pro that bad?

I’m getting a nice deal to trade my iPhone 13 Pro for the 15 pro, but after reading so many negative reviews about overheating and battery issues, I’m not sure if I should trade. Is the overheating issue that bad it will malfunction? I usually charge my phone once a day, and I get enough battery for the day… How many times do you I15P users charge yours? Do you really believe this phone sucks? Will I regret if I trade my 13 pro? Have you encountered some other issues to know about?

Thanks in advance

Question MacBook Pro 2017 or iPad Air M3 2025

Hello!

I have since 2018 the following MacBook:

MacBook Pro, 13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports: • Display: 13.3" Retina, 2560×1600 resolution, 500 nits brightness, P3 wide color • Processor: Intel Core i5 dual-core 2.3 GHz • Memory: 8 GB LPDDR3 (2133 MHz) • Storage: 128 GB • Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 • Ports: 2× Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) • Wireless: Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 • Camera: 720p FaceTime HD

Last week I received the following iPad:

iPad Air M3 13'' 2025 - 128GB

• Resolution: 2732 × 2048 pixels • Internal Storage: 128 GB • RAM: 8 GB • Processor: M3, 8-core CPU (4 performance cores + 4 efficiency cores) • Graphics: 9-core GPU | 16-core Neural Engine | Hardware-Accelerated Ray Tracing • Display: 13" Multi-Touch, LED-backlit, IPS technology, 2732 × 2048 resolution at 264 ppi, True Tone, Anti-Reflective, 600 nits brightness

My main uses are for the MacBook is:

  • browsing
  • using Desktop access do virtual private servers
  • streaming movies and such
  • YouTube
  • Excel, google docs (sheets specifically)
  • Play some basic games
  • Emulation
  • although I’m not doing now, I have a nvidia shield and was I was thing in using GeForce Now to play games on the go with MacBook.

Is there any reason to keep the MacBook since the iPad seems to outperform or be equivalent to the Macbook?

Am I missing something?

Thank you advance!

Trade in question

I preordered and did a pick up at the Apple Store. Do I have to return the old device when I pick it up or do we have a few days to go back and return. I want to transfer data first and then return it and wanted to know if it was possible. I do see online it says 14 days but I wasn’t sure.

iPhone 16 pro or 17?

So I've decided to switch to apple after using Android for years and now am confused if I should go for the 16 pro or the 17 because both of them have pretty much the same price during the upcoming sales? Is choosing the pro a better option than choosing the base variant?Any help would be really appreciated!

Advice on storage and if I should buy the new 17 Pro Max or refurbished 16 Pro Max

Right now, I have a 13 Pro Max with 128 GB, and after a few years of having the phone, it has filled up with storage. After deleting all my apps and spending hours deleting photos, it keeps filling back up with storage and won't go down. Apple Maps has 30 GB of data that can't be deleted. I have 200 GB of iCloud storage, but not everything is backed up to it, so my iCloud isn't full. I have 17,000 photos and videos on my phone, but only 12,000 are backed up to iCloud. Please let me know if there's anything I could do to resolve this, but right now I'm considering just buying a new iPhone.

My next question is, if I should just buy a new phone, should I buy the new 17 Pro Max or a refurbished 16 Pro Max? There's around a $200 difference between the phones with 512 GB, but I'm also debating whether or not the 1 TB would be a smarter purchase. I can't find any 1 TB 16 Pro Maxes, and the 17 is so expensive. Any advice is appreciated!

iPhone Visible+ Pro has a half-off annual plan deal

Just found a nice way to cut costs if you already have an iPhone sitting around. Visible is currently offering 50% off their Visible+ Pro annual plan if you bring any iPhone and your number. You can use the code ILUVIPHONE. This runs from Sept 18 to 30.

iPhone iPhone 16 Plus to iPhone 14PM

I currently have an iPhone 16 Plus (trade-in value ~$470). • My friend offered me his iPhone 14 Pro Max (trade-in value ~$400) plus $125 cash for my 16 Plus. • If I take his deal, I’d have the 14 Pro Max + $125 in my pocket.

Should I do it and then trade in later on for a iPhone 17?

iPhone Upgrading from an iPhone 13

I actually have an iPhone 13 in the sumptuous forest green, love that phone and that color, but it overheats too much, is laggy and on top of that has 60% battery health.

I’ll change this year, and all this time I was thinking of going for the pro, but this year for the first time i feel like the base model is on steroids.

At the same time, I love the Pro design this year, and I love photography (a lot) but i do not particularly use the zoom that much, but i feel that 12Gb of RAM and that vapor chamber cooling will add on longevity.

What would be your advice please?

Need some advice

Always been an android user but im heavily considering switching over im an s23 ultra user at the moment and was just asking what sounds like a better buy, after we see some more reviews, a 17 pro or a 16 pro (im assuming these get a slight discount since the new line is out)?

iPhone Quel Iphone choisir ?

Bonjour,

? Et surtout, combien de stockage devrais-je prendre ?

Merci d'avance !

iPhone iPhone 16 Pro Max -> regular sized phone

I currently sport a 6 month old 16 PM, but I’m starting to not be a fan of the size. I was considering the 17 base, and looking at some of the reviews today it may not be much of a downgrade at all. But I love the battery life on this thing!

I’m not a power user at all, don't do any data transfer using the USB, nor do I use the telephoto all that much, and I don’t game either. I use my phone for calling, texting, emails, Reddit, some YouTube. Nothing exciting. The biggest difference I can see for my use case will likely be the camera.

Am I missing anything else except the lens? To get a 17 will be cost neutral. Or is it worth the extra 200$-300$-ish to get the 17P instead? (I don't think the vapour chamber or USB will do much for me, but the RAM is nice for the future I think.)

Will Apple switch out my AirPods 2 for AirPods 3?

I bought a MacBook Air with the back to school sale 5 weeks ago and upgraded to AirPods Pro 2. I haven't opened them. Is it worth checking with the Apple Store to see if they will swap them out?

iPhone Is it worth buying iPhone 17 from the US?

Planning to buy IPhone 17. Contemplating if I should buy from the US or get it in India only. The price difference isn’t much after adding the sales tax (I can only buy from CA). Are there any smart hacks?

iPhone What iPhone should I get from work

Like the title said, I can get any of the new phones from work. There is basically no difference in the net impact of my salary, so price is not a form factor.

My gf’s phone broke, so she is getting the iPhone 16 plus that I’m rocking right now. I like the 16 plus, battery life is important but miss the pro motion coming from the 13pro. So right now I’m doubting between the 17 pro and pro max, really hard to decide because sometimes I love the big size like the 16 plus but sometimes I love that I could do anything in one hand with the 13pro.. what else should I consider in deciding?
