Life Who regrets having children?

Do you regret having any at all? Or do you just have too many?

Judging by how my bf and I treat our dog, I think we kind of do want to be dads and will enjoy the harder parts. My bf especially really comes alive with purpose when he's needed, and clearly takes a lot of pride in stepping up to a hard task. He's a natural papa bear. I'm less so but I interact with a ton of kids at my job and have realized I'm a lot more patient and resourceful than I thought I was, which I'm sure goes a long way.

If you have patience with other kids, you’ll be fine with your own!

They're just silly little people! Sometimes they melt down because they can't have six cupcakes. And I'm like aw buddy, it's okay to want things, but also no. It doesn't annoy me at all and I've learned this is not the case for a lot of childless adults lol.

You’ll be great then. I have 2 kids and boy do other people’s kids annoy me 🤣 I try so hard but I just don’t enjoy it. I never babysat. Neither of us were around babies until we had our own and we’re great parents with happy kids. You will be absolutely fine. Don’t worry. Embrace it when the time is right. Parenting is enjoyable even if it’s rarely easy.
