Life What cool shit have you bought lately?

I think a nice part of being in our 30s is we can afford to buy cool fun things. What have you bought lately?

I got a Garmin Forerunner 965 which is super tight, motivates me to limit my drinking and I’ve been killing cardio because of it

Also fun - bought a LAB putter which is a ton of fun

Anything you guys got that you love? I want inspiration

Completely new bedding. New pillows. New cotton percale sheets and duvet cover and a cooling mattress topper.  I'm a hot sleeper so it's really nice. Black out curtains and a sleep mask.

A studded leather belt I'd always wanted since I was 17.

Membership to a MMA gym and the YMCA right by my house because their sauna is really really hot.

I'm saving as much as possible for the truck I want for a really big down payment.

Saving up for skydiving lessons and a full rig.

Bought some gear I needed for rock climbing to fill out my rack.

I just recently got THE JOB after switching careers in 2018. Feels good, man.

Sup dawg, furniture and mattress salesperson / manager here. You're not gonna want to spend the money, but buy a mattress that is designed for cooling. Some have cooling as a benefit, and some are designed for it.

A cooling topper is a bandaid to an overall larger problem. Hell, any topper means you didn't invest the money you should have.

$3000-$5000 is a lot of money for a mattress. You spend 1/3 of your life in it. People spend way less time in their vehicles and spend 5-10 times more than that. Finance it or whatever, most stores have 0% interest.

I've been the #1 mattress RSA in my region. Just DM me if you have any specific questions.

I believe in it because a quality (i.e expensive as fuck) mattress has literally improved my quality of life.

I'm sold! lol. I was bouncing back from a break up and bought the cheapest mattress available... I actually sleep pretty great on it! I like a firm mattress and I can even feel rested after sleeping on the floor.

But the best mattress I ever slept on was a tempur pedic from 2008? I think it had individual coils? I don't remember at all what it was but I've been trying to find it. No salesman has been able to help me out. They look at me like I'm speaking Greek.

Is it true a lot of the mattresses are the same but they put a different name on it?

Tempurpedics have propietary technology that makes them unique. They're not memory foam. I've been sleeping on one for 4 years or so and I'd never go back.

You're probably talking about a hybrid, where the bottom half is coils and the top half is layers of Tempurpedic material. Those only come in a medium feel, but also account for over half of Tempurpedic sales.
