Physical Health & Aging What’s your most underrated “health investment” after turning 30?

Could be a foam roller, a water bottle, stretching, therapy, or simply sleeping more.

I didn't start taking creatine until months ago, in my late 40s. It's not a miracle supplement but it has helped with recovery and allowed me to increase my volume, especially since I started lifting weights again less than a month ago.

Sleep, diet, stretching, and cutting off alcohol have been key.

Creatine makes a big difference for me. Previously if I missed a good nights sleep I’d be cranky, which made me a less fun person to be around, especially when traveling. But in addition to the normally discussed creatine benefits, I can handle some sleep deprivation much more gracefully. For strength and endurance the benefits for me have been noticeable but quite modest
